Great Game that I highly recommend!

This game is great and is challenging but I’ve noticed on the candidate level when I put certain pieces in the same area of the chess board the CPU responds the same way over and over also I was about to get a stalemate and for about four days now the CPU still hasn’t made its last move I think it’s still trying to process the fact that it’s not going to win? I’m not sure. Also there have been some times where I have the ability to move my queen and moving my queen would not put myself in check but the app won’t let me move my queen and when I tap on my queen the app thinks I’m tapping the opponents queen that is in the same area it’s started in the beginning of the match But overall I highly recommend this app for offline chess players who seek a great challenge!

Please add additional game options to toggle on and off settings for unlimited turns or fixed count of turns, and also to add and disable timers. The game doesnt seem to consistently call draws, and quite often it seems to tell me there’s a draw where I have most definitely won. Very strange. The simple fix is to just give me a toggle to do unlimited turns or fixed numbers of turn that we can select, like many other chess games do. Its insulting when there’s a draw that I can re-play the last turn if I watch an ad, when I already paid to remove all ads... How much money are you even making off the typical user to watch ads? Why dont you just charge me another $5 or $10 and give me unlimited undo and re-tries and re-plays? I’ll just go play another chess game at this point. I hope you’ll offer more game options like I suggested, please. Otherwise the game seems great. Just make a one-time pro paid version with a full unlock and charge me more money for a reasonable amount, and I’ll happily pay it instead of the lame ad gimmicks. Either way, Im not watching any ads since I already paid to remove them...So take your pick, I uninstall and I never watch ads anyways, or just charge me more money one-time to remove ALL gimmicks and leave me alone with the annoying ad offers “to optionally allow me to expand my gameplay” lol. Thanks.

In chess, having several pieces against a lone king can still result in a draw through stalemate or another draw condition, though we understand the results have felt inconsistent. We will share the draw behavior, requested turn and timer options, and your concern about ad-based undo after paying to remove ads with the team.

I can’t believe I’m the only person saying this

I’m a beginner at chess and I was shocked to see how simple it is the problem is but like any other chess game app where it’s so obvious that the person you’re playing against is a bot. The issue that during the beginning you’re rightfully given the option to move and beat the “player” but then towards the end when I’m literally about to win I’m not able to. All can do is just move my checks around meanwhile this bot player can do whatever it wants and if that’s not happening time runs out and you get a pop up talking about how interesting the game was and the choice to start over which is why this isn’t for me. I’m not sure if these other reviews are fake and I wouldn’t be surprised if they all are they are mentioning the screwed “difficulty” like it’s a good thing when there’s a difference between making the game slightly difficult so you would wanna keep playing and just plain cheating the players, players should be allowed to win so don’t bother playing this on your phone where you will more than likely be competing with a robot.

Great App for Improving your Chess Skills!

It’s the best, simple & straight forward Chess app I’ve used. I’ve been using it for over 2 years and I’ve tried several VS CPU Chess Apps but nothing has come close to replacing it. From Beginner to Master, and everyone in between, the levels cover them all. The first 3 levels are good for newcomers, I win about 70-75% of Level 4 games, but I’ve not been able to win at level 5. That’s my goal, but it’s a bit too difficult for my current abilities and if I’m being honest, I really don’t think I’ll ever be able to win a level 5 game. In over 400 attempts, it’s beat me with relative ease, in all but 2 of those attempts. So it’ll probably be a life long challenge. I highly recommend this app for all skill levels to use for practice.
