ABOUT SAUNUM
Saunum is redefining the traditional sauna experience with its patented air-blending technology.
Saunum's patented air-blending system captures the scorching steam that rises near the sauna ceiling, mixes it with cooler, oxygen-rich air near the floor, and distributes the softer steam evenly throughout the sauna. This creates a more balanced temperature from head to toe and makes breathing more comfortable.
The result is softer, longer-lasting steam, more even warmth, and the freedom to enjoy richer steam and more intense sweating without excessive heat around your head.
There isn’t that much a basic sauna app needs to do. This app sets the bar below that and fails to achieve it. The interface is confusing, the connection is unreliable, and the functions are severely limited. It should also have a watch interface - which you can bring into the sauna - rather than just a mobile device - which can easily overheat. Do better - an AI agent could fix this quickly.
Pathetic
adbix
As others have said this is so far below expectations for a premium product it’s not even funny. The recent update made everything even worse. The timers for heating and scheduling are now more confusing than ever. What’s more, my connection drops all the time. The whole point of paying like $1800 bucks for a wifi controller (what a scam) is to be able to turn it on remotely. That works intermittently if I’m lucky. That’s literally the primary function of this pathetic app, to stay connected and turn the heater on. I absolutely love my heater but this could be redesigned and improved in an afternoon. Do a design thinking exercise with a handful of consumer tests. It’s not hard.
Needs work
Driggs7
Needs things as basic as notification when the sauna reaches temperature and is ready to start a session. Temperature changes in saved types doesn’t seem to save correctly. Overall needs work.
August 2026 update okay
SirBeef
Yes this wasn’t the best app of all time, but it honestly did the job. Turned the sauna on remotely and let you know when it’s ready. New update had me concerned, but give it a day and it should get to working again. Still room for improvement but getting better. Only wish you could turn on fan as it’s heating up
