This game does have app purchases btw and honestly you’ll spend a lot of money on this but also if you don’t have the money to spend like I did for the 1st year I played the game is playable without buying anything. This game is extremely fun and keeps you engaged and entertained I also say if you play this game theirs also grand war WW2 and others that are the same amount of fun and entertainment an if you play this game or any game for that matter than download the DISCORD APP it’s a great way to get help if your stuck on a mission or need to know any info at all plus the forums are full of great people and very informative an it’s also possible to add your own game suggestions to any of Joynow games they do take some of our suggestions but it takes time but that’s what i got to say if you play this or any Joynow games you won’t be let down at all but just know even without buying anything the game is possible to beat but it’s lore difficult to do so. But for cheating developers…again!!! This game has such potential is is admittedly fun to play, until you reach that point where every level becomes ludicrous. The level-up process takes an unbelievably long time and involves so many working parts it is beyond most people’s capability to comprehend…which is by design so that you will spend money. Once you reach a point to play a certain level & place your army…right where the game wants them, you learn that the level of your troops IS NEVER ENOUGH to face the enemy in front of you. You are usually overmatched 3-5 more levels than stated. In addition, JoyNow LOVES to produce entire armies out of the ground!!! After you have bled out by defeating the wave of enemy you can see (there is always another enemy force that can see you from beyond your vision, always) the trap is sprung, the warriors from the fog attack & it is during this attack that JoyNow produces A THIRD ENEMY FORCE FROM THE GROUND!! You start out overmatch against units you cannot buy, or produce, meet the enemy from the fog & then engage the BRAND NEW ARMY raised up from the ground. You have to really want this game in order to enjoy it…money does not allow sufficient advancement to overcome the slog of leveling up. And the joy of reaching that level is only extremely fleeting…like a wild bird in your hand that quickly leaves & is gone…

I’ve played this game for about 2-3 weeks and I’m seeing most of the pros and cons mentioned in other comments and reviews. I’m personally running into issues around the Punic war. Strategy is key, for sure, but it borders on near impossible to complete. Some recommendations: 1) Make your basic ranged units have a range of 3 or 4 to allow for a layered defense over melee units. 2) Make your siege equipment have a range of 5 or 6 since this would be more historically accurate. 3) Cavalry units should never be counter attacked since they are always used as scouts. 4) Melee units should have stronger defense when grouped together. Roman legions provided mutual defense. 5) Make some of the special units available either after a battle or as you progress through the scenarios. 6) Forts and outposts should also have a range of 3 or 4. 7) Gold and resource income should increase when you capture a village or city. They should similarly decrease when you lose one. 8) Allow for the production of a camp so you can bring injured units to it to rest and refit, thus gaining HP to continue in the fight. Just a few recommendations for improvements in the game.Update: now I’m having issues claiming daily tasks. The game doesn’t appear to be updating anymore for me.

Fun and strategic. You won’t regret playing. One of the best strategy games I’ve played in awhile. Tip: you can repeat mission’s to earn silver. Don’t turtle or you will fail, this game has some scandalous tactics. Use every advantage war is not about fair. Ps. It’s impossible to get any gift codes, so don’t try. Just saving you the trouble. It would be nice to have a random map generator. Love the game!!! Look for Generals that produce resources and use gold for that. Difficult enough that presents a strategic problem to solve. Great to play offline too!Try it today!!!
