This is a compatibility update to get you ready for everything new coming your way. This update includes improvements to undo with the introduction of Recovery Points, and a few fixes to enhance performance. • Ever lost the progress of your movie because you couldn’t redo? Three undo steps in a row followed by a new action will automatically create a Recovery Point to claim it back. Up to three Recovery Points will be saved for each movie in Movie Settings > History. • Don’t panic if you accidentally delete your movie! Files will now appear in the Recently Deleted folder on your iPad for 30 days when deleted from the Theater.

Lens Blur introduces a new way to create beautiful camera focus effects and bokeh, while brush cursor provides a way to make your strokes more precise than ever. Procreate Dreams now supports barrel roll, squeeze and haptic feedback for Apple Pencil Pro, with features and functionality designed to reinvigorate your creativity. Performing with barrel roll With Performing, you can create animations by recording your actions while the movie plays. Now with barrel roll, you can move and rotate your object at the same time. You can switch this off in Movie Settings → Preferences. Brush response with barrel roll Use drag and drop to import your favourite Procreate brushes customized with barrel roll into Procreate Dreams. Squeeze Experience an uninterrupted workflow by using squeeze to play and pause your movie while you create and edit. Use squeeze with Loop Screen on your Timeline to keep you in the zone. You can switch this off in Movie Settings → Preferences by tapping on the Movie name. Haptic feedback Haptic feedback provides a more tactile experience when editing on the Timeline. Try trimming your content and feeling it snap to match other content. Brush cursor This well-loved Procreate feature is now available in Procreate Dreams. Use brush cursor to see the shape of your brush as you draw. With hover you can see a full color preview of your brush when painting, and a preview of what will be removed when erasing. Brush cursor settings can be personalized in Movie Settings → Preferences. Lens Blur live filter Add realistic bokeh and camera focus effects to your animations. Tap the Playhead and choose Filter → Lens Blur. Available on M1, M2, and M4 iPads. Please note, any files created in this version of Procreate Dreams cannot be opened in previous versions. Recent undo steps As well as customizing the total number of stored undo steps, you can now choose how many are distributed throughout your document history.
