Phones nearby talk directly over Bluetooth and pass messages on through one another, so a message reaches further than a single Bluetooth link. Nothing goes to a server: what is said there stays on the phones that heard it and never appears in your normal chats. Works in Airplane Mode — iOS lets you switch Bluetooth back on, and remembers it for the flight. Every message is signed, and a private one is sealed, so the phones relaying it cannot read it. Chats tab, "+", "Nearby". It is also offered by itself whenever the app cannot reach the server. CHECKLISTS Send a list of tasks into a chat. Anyone in the conversation can tick an item, and the list says who did — including when two people did the same one. LOCATION Send where you are, or any place you picked on the map. THE CHAT SCREEN Full height, with the header and the composer floating over the conversation instead of sitting on slabs — the same shape the rest of the app already had. MENTIONS AND DRAFTS Type @ and a username: the person is actually mentioned now, and the suggestion list shows handles rather than only names. What you typed and did not send stays in that chat until you come back. PINNED CHATS Keep the conversations you return to at the top. CHANNELS A public channel now has a link you can share from the app, and only its owner can post in it. ON MAC Right-click a message for its actions and reactions, delete your own messages, and the close button hides the window instead of quitting. ALSO The unread badge on the icon now clears when you read the messages. Your username no longer disappears after switching accounts, and a taken one is shown in red while you type instead of failing on Save.
