This is an update to my previous bad review. The original review is still listed at the end of this update. Whop resolved my issue with the refunding of the original purchase price. Suggested that the seller must have got my card information from outside the app and suggested I cancel that card and get a new one. Which I did. And then they removed that seller from their platform! Thank you so much. I really appreciate the customer service. This is my original review. I am leaving it so anybody who comes across the seller knows to beware: This app has a seller named crochet for all. It was only $1.87 for unlimited access to over 350 crochet patterns, they said. They only have 17 things on their page. Three of which aren’t even patterns, only two of which are actually crochet patterns. The rest are knitting patterns. So I opened a case wanting a refund. My case was denied by the seller. And then at 4 AM this morning crochet for all hit my account for thousands of dollars.. I’ve opened a case with the resolution center. As of yet, I don’t know if anything is gonna happen with that. I don’t know if anything else on this app is a scam but crochet for all is definitely a scam. Do not give these people access to your credit card, your iTunes or any other form of payment.

Hello there, this Merchant is not affiliated with the Whop Brand. Sellers do NOT have the ability to manually charge transactions / use your card without you specifically authorizing a payment. This fraudulent seller has been removed from using our Payment Processing services, and likely got access to your Card # on his personal website.

Such a great app! I’m 23 and trying to get into learning more about businesses, the market, stocks, etc. and the communities I’ve joined have treated me so well, in terms of communities and learning opportunities? Whop has PLENTY; pick your mf poison y’all!The only issue I have with the app is that I’m in a class right now and can’t use my iPad to view the lessons and interact with the quizzes/assessments needed through it. It keeps on “loading” but never loads. I have to view them on my phone and it’s a tiny screen! I take notes on my iPad too with the multi-window action you can use on it. It should be one of the newer iPads so all I can assume is the software doesn’t pair up or the app doesn’t support it, but it would be KILLER if it did!!!Overall though a GREAT APP

False advertising and scamming

Got scammed 2 on this platform and Whop decided with the seller both times bogusly. The most recent one, the seller stopped posting halfway through my membership. I waited a little over a week after my membership ended to request a refund since I was giving the seller the benefit of the doubt to start posting again and thought it would be no problem requesting a refund since most companies have at least a 14-30 day policy. The denied my refund because I waited 10 days after my membership ended. Only 10 days and Whop said I waited too long to request a refund even though they acknowledged the seller did not post at all. $100 down the drain. The seller had on his profile that I would get a free month if they were non-profitable, he changed his profile/policy after I messaged him about this and they still refused to offer my refund. The second seller despite having multiple L’s, posted on threads only his W’s. Pretty much scamming and I requested a refund on this one too and I was denied. Also a third seller changed his price from $20 to $50 and they took that out my account without my consent but the seller knew he was in the wrong and I received my refund for that one. Horrible time on this platform. I encourage you to find someone else who’s not on this platform, they allow scammers and keep allowing them to use this platform and does not look out for the buyer.

This app does help with finding sealed product which is the only reason it doesn’t have a bad reputation. It can be misleading if you don’t know a lot about it because the app is over saturated with scalpers. The creator doesn’t discourage it at all or set any kind of expectations. The chats are full of people buying up whole inventories and bragging about how they’re making 10$ a pop.. From the start I assumed this app was made to give people a fighting chance. But after being in the community not long at all you’ll quickly find out that the creator only seems to have money in mind. Pokenotify has even recently partnered with “pokelytics HQ” which is an app solely built for scalpers to help manage their online inventory and increase profits. …Adults and children alike have been collecting pokemon branded product for years. I myself grew up watching the anime and movies and collecting the cards out of pure passion and enjoyment. Now all of sudden, just because it’s become more popular, the hobby has become overpopulated with heartless people that only care about the money in your pocket and could come up with a million excuses to justify what they do… so much greed.. hopefully it won’t be long before people wake up and stop buying market sealed product.
