Your day, your pod, your way — with a better calendar and more ways to make Podz work the way you do. • A dramatically improved Day View. Your hourly calendar now shows attendee photos right inside events, plus your to-dos and upcoming repeating reminders — so you can see who’s doing what, and when, all in one place. • Choose how every pod opens. Snapshot, Day, Week, Month, or Agenda — you can now choose the default view for each pod, instead of being limited to Snapshot for family pods or Activity for other pods. • Share more in chat. Send recipes, trips, and itineraries directly into conversations, complete with their photos. • Navigate between itinerary stops. Choose another stop on your trip as your starting point when getting directions. • Add family birthdays faster. Family admins can now add a birthday in one simple step. • Every other week? No problem. Events now support bi-weekly repeating schedules. • Get all your calendars in one place. Recently added: automatic device calendar sync, school and sports ICS calendars, calendar invite imports, and TeamSnap integration — including the ability to update attendance right from Podz. Plus additional performance improvements, bug fixes, and refinements throughout Podz.

Organize the school year. Plan something to look forward to. This update builds on our latest calendar improvements to help families and groups bring more of their schedules into one shared pod — including device calendars, school calendars, sports schedules, TeamSnap teams, ICS subscriptions, calendar invites, birthdays, meal plans, trips, to-dos and more. **Automatic Calendar Sync** Podz can automatically sync with your local device calendars. Choose which calendars to include, which pod members to update, how far back and ahead to sync, and how often Podz should check for updates. Sync can run in the background, at app startup, or anytime you choose. **ICS Calendar Support** Add any ICS subscription URL and keep it synced on your schedule — hourly, daily or at another frequency. You can also import downloaded ICS files from schools, teams, events or other sites that provide calendar files but not subscription links. **Open Calendar Invites in Podz** When you receive an ICS calendar invite or attachment by email or another app, Podz can appear as an option to add that appointment directly into your pod. **TeamSnap Integration** Connect TeamSnap to Podz, link multiple teams to the right family members, and bring practices and games into your shared calendar. You can even set your or your child’s attendance in Podz, and Podz will update TeamSnap so the coach can see who is coming. **More on Snapshot** Meal plans now appear on Snapshot, making it easier to see what’s for dinner. Birthdays for pod members and contacts now appear on Snapshot too, so important days are easier to remember. Podz is also expanding its App Store presence to France and Germany. This update includes calendar reliability improvements, recipe entry improvements, performance updates, bug fixes and security enhancements.

This is an important update with major improvements for international use. Podz now supports full timezones instead of relying on abbreviations, helping avoid conflicts like IST meaning both Irish Standard Time and India Standard Time. Destination and location search for trips and events has also been improved, with results now shown in the user’s selected language instead of only English. This update also includes significant performance improvements for a faster, smoother experience.

This update includes a helpful new way to invite people to your pods, plus improvements for trips, events, and expenses. You can now send an invite to another pod directly inside an existing pod chat. If you’re already chatting with a group and want to invite them to a different pod you created, it’s now easier to share the invite without leaving the conversation. We also improved agenda timezone handling for trips, so trip events now show in the trip’s timezone instead of your local timezone. This update also fixes an issue with Trip/Event expense recording when using percentage calculations.

This update adds new World Cup features and improvements. You can now set game reminders when choosing the teams you want to follow. Game results are also now shown in both the World Cup calendar view and Agenda view, making it easier to keep up with every match. We’ve also improved timezone selection for events and trips. Timezones still fill automatically based on your location or trip destination, but now they’re easier to find and change. You can search by IANA timezone name, city name, or abbreviation — for example, America/New York, Washington, EST, or EDT. This update also fixes an issue where prior-day events could appear in Upcoming Events after timezone updates, along with overall performance improvements and bug fixes.

**What’s New** Version 2.20.36 adds new ways to plan, filter, and organize your trips and calendars. **My Calendar Only** You can now filter your calendar to show only events you created or are attending. The new toggle works across Snapshot, Day, Week, Month, and Agenda views, and Podz remembers your preference. **Car Rental Search** Plan car rentals directly from your trip. Add a car rental event and search Booking.com or Turo with your pickup location, dates, and times pre-filled from your trip details. You can also set a different drop-off location, enter driver age details, and track booking info like confirmation numbers. **Add Itineraries to Existing Trips** AI-generated itineraries can now be added to trips you’ve already created. Choose an existing trip, pick a start date, and add new activities without starting from scratch. This update also includes additional improvements and fixes to make Podz smoother and easier to use.

New: Follow the World Cup in Podz! Pick your teams, add matches to your Pod calendar, plan watch parties, vote on winners, chat with your group, and enjoy the tournament together. We’ve also improved group trip planning with voting for itinerary recommendations and destinations, making it easier to compare ideas and build a trip everyone is excited about. Plus, we fixed several issues and made performance improvements throughout the app.

We’ve added Uber and Lyft ride options to Podz navigation. Now when you tap an address, you can quickly open ride-share options and schedule a ride. This update also includes multiple Dark Mode UI improvements, including a true black background for a cleaner, more polished look.
