iDigi is a modern digital-mode suite for amateur radio on macOS. Operate PSK, RTTY, FT8, FT4, WSPR, SSTV, WEFAX and CW with a intuitive interface and built-in logging.
iDigi brings digital amateur radio to your Mac — powerful, elegant, and easy to use.
With just your transceiver and a sound card, you can explore nearly every modern digital mode from a single, native macOS app.
Work every major mode
Operate PSK31/63/125, RTTY, CW, WSPR, WEFAX, FT4, FT8, and SSTV, with more on the way including Hellschreiber, MFSK, and Olivia.
All modes share the same clean, consistent interface, so you can focus on operating rather than configuring.
High-quality, efficient decoders
Each mode uses an optimized DSP engine built for speed and precision, delivering reliable decodes even under weak or noisy conditions — while keeping CPU and power use low for portable operation.
Designed exclusively for macOS
Built natively for macOS, iDigi integrates seamlessly with your system:
smooth Core Audio processing, Apple Keychain for secure credentials, and a beautiful interface that feels right at home on your Mac.
Smart automation and logging
Automatic callsign lookup (QRZ.com, HamQTH), customizable macros, and an integrated logger make digital operation effortless.
Upload your QSOs directly to QRZ.com, eQSL.cc, Club Log, Wavelog, or LoTW — no TQSL required — or share them in real time with N1MM-compatible loggers.
It integrates well with other applications like GridTracker2, RUMLogNG, MacLoggerDX or any other N1MM compatible logging application.
Visualization and control
View signals in the real-time Waterfall View, track propagation on integrated maps, and control your transceiver through full CAT and ATU support.
Record or replay audio in AIFF or MP4 format and adjust playback speed for detailed analysis.

Great Product was Glad to find

Really was happy to find this APP for macOS. For a long time I have wanted to do SSTV on my mac. This does that and pretty easy. One WISH I had is that I could figure out how to use the program with macLoggerDX. I know it has its own logger but I’m invested deeply in macLoggerDX and its rotor control as well. Adding the ability for the 2 to talk would broaded support possibly.
Developer Response
Thank you very much for your review. Support for MacLoggerDX logging is in the works and should be available in the next few weeks. As for the rotor control I'd need to get more information to understand what would be required. Would you mind sending me a short mail to the address listed on iDigi's support homepage, https://idigi.ch/support.html ?
Pleasantly Surprised

I was looking for a native MacOS app for SSTV and ran across iDigi. There was a trial period which is a big plus. I know how my rig, FTdx-10, shows up under MacOS and had the app setup in literally 3 minutes for SSTV. I hit the send button and without missing a beat iDigi was sending the default picture I selected with zero hiccups. Before I knew it I was having a "QSO" on SSTV. This was absolutely the best SSTV app for MacOS. I've tried many in the past and they used to work but over time developed some quirks. iDigi was a breath of fresh air.The interface is nice and feature rich. I have not used all the features of iDigi but I suspect they are just as well planned and organized as the SSTV section. Once I completed the QSO I knew this was a "keeper" and gladly purchased the app. Tomorrow I will be examining all the features to see what else I can take advantage of. I'm quite excited over iDigi and most hams being, shall we say, thrifty cannot complain about this app. If i hear anothe ham mention MacOS I'm going to suggest they check out iDigi as it is useful and well thought out and I hope development continues. I very much enjoy the app. Thank you to the developer! 73

iDigi is a new application for Mac users who are Amateur Radio operators or even shortwave listeners who want copy some digital signals. After years of using separate programs for FT8, RTTY, PSK SSTV, CW, etc., iDigi bundles all these and more into a simple, easy to use application. You can even copy WEFAX maps from around the world. The developer promises to offer even more capability and compatibility with other Mac Ham Radio programs in the future; like MacLoggerDX; my favorite logging program. You can tell it was built for the Mac rather than ported from Windows. I’m looking forward to using this as my “go to” app for al things digital.
Deceiving App-30 minute Trial
QuietGhostWI
While searching for a SDR app for use on a Mac, this one appeared in the short results list, as free with ads, which is not true. This Pay-to-Play is not disclosed until after you install it and first open to begin using it. You get a 30 minute trial. garbage. You have to purchase it as an in-app purchase and not within the App Store. Not safe. To find the price of the app, I had to go to their website and hunt around, only to discover it buried in the fine print at the very bottom of the page. How can anyone possibly ‘try’ software like this in old thirty minutes??? It would take a day just to get it set up and configured for new techs like myself. Irritating. Uninstalled. Waste of time.
Developer Response
Hi,iDigi is not a free app and is marked as having in-app purchases, with the price stated as well in the App Store. It does also not have ads. The trial mode screen appearing at the start of the app also informs that a full license is required and can be bought directly from there. In-app purchases are officially supported by Apple and the App Store and are safe. The app terminates after 30 minutes in trial mode, but it can be restarted again as many times as needed.
