I used Purpl successfully yesterday for the first time. It was just as easy as in the demo video (once I found the right ATM, which took me a while because there are many different brands of ATMs in the same area in Zahle). Only a couple of minutes and I had my USD in hand with no fees during the withdrawal. The only fee is for the sender. In my case, to send funds from USA to Lebanon the fee is about 2% for the sender via Remitly. Still much better than the 5% that some ATMs charge in Lebanon.

I have used Purpl for the first time few days ago and recommended it to all friends and family living abroad. The app is very convenient and free of charge specially when withdrawing funds sent from abroad when other money transfer are still charging 2% fees. Easiest and cheapest way to transfer money from the US (Or anywhere else) to Lebanon. Nearly instant and extremely easy to withdraw the money without having to show your ID multiple times. I’ve used Whish and many other similar services but this one is for sure the best.
