Needs to use macro camera for check deposit

Biggest annoyance is that the camera can’t focus on the check properly when doing a mobile deposit. It should use the macro camera but it doesn’t. iPhone 15 pro max

My family has been with the bank for over 40 years, this year we all decided to leave. Why ? Tools. The FAB app was great see everything in one place, personal, DBA, business. Then came the Ca$htrac app in the fall without notice. One of our main accounts simply disappeared from view. The bank said oh yes you need to use Ca$shtrac app. They broke all bill payments, automatic transfers and usability. If I had to describe the app in one word : unusable. The design, tools and capabilities are on par with mid 90s websites. The banks response, tough, deal with it. I am not a big fan of "big banks" like chase, I found a bank that understand the user experience, far better options for tools and better returns. Good luck First American, customer centricity is no longer your focus and it shows !

Does not support remote mobile check deposits or even zelle, what’s the point of having this?

This new dumb app that was forced on me does not have remote check deposits or even Zelle which I have been advertising and using with my customers for years now. In this day and age what’s the point of using a bank mobile app that does not support those features? I will most likely be leaving First American Bank unless both of those are MOBILE banking options are addressed very soon.
