My experience. They are untrustworthy. They don’t work in good faith. They overcharge for simple task but keep it below the threshold to not need your approval. They allow for tenants to complain about anything and they send a 3rd party out. The gave bad information to potential tenants that drove them away. They worked with the tenant to reduce monthly bill on information that was provided in the listing. They charged the tenant for animals but I received none of it. I received no money for any repairs. Unfortunately, I do not wish them success. I hope they go out of business. It was the worst decision as a landlord. I ended up owing them money nearly every month. On a monthly basis I went from covering the mortgage plus $100 to paying $300-$500 out of pocket each month. Then a week after cancellation of their service the tenant send me a email from their lawyer that they are filing for bankruptcy. So they drove away tenants and lead me to sign with someone that couldn’t finish a year and I made no money only lost money. And the tenant also left a bad review. I even worked things out and even continue to talk with the tenant because Belong was the biggest issue. They are the ones that don’t Belong. My last communication tried to verify charges and cost because they would charge multiple times for the things they didn’t fix. A year later the day before Christmas they debi my checking account almost $5000 with no communication throughout the year. I love forward to their downfall. They are money pits. Unless you have money to waste or money isn’t an issue.

Good platform terrible communication and follow though

App is nice but communication and follow through is poor. A lot of commitment are made with the property owner having to drive commitment, calls, and follow up especially with the pre contract process. That being said communication between the Belong functions hasn’t been better with me having to coordinate repairs myself and complete in less time than them getting a quote. Random price changes when the settings are off making it harder to rent. Very few tour updates and App is left out of date.

Unable to change or delete payments. But, able to add payments?? Having no control over your own payments accounts in the app is not ethical. If the company can control and have ACH access to all your payments and you cannot, this is not ethical business practice. The app and website state, “you can change or update your payments in the accounts section”. Where in the app? I don’t see it and I see that you cannot. WHY?! Fix this problem.
