The purpose of making this game and publishing the video on Youtube is to preserve our tradition and to not lose out on some of the games that out ancestors have played since millenia. The rock carvings of this game board have been found carved into the floor at archealogical sites like Mahabalipuram, Sravanabelagola etc.
