So if you played Idle Monster TD, you would absolutely love this game, it is in my opinion a way better version, with much better scaling without the need to feel like you are missing out by not paying for things. So the evolution system alone sold me on why this is awesome, you can literally use any tower you want to scale infinitely basically. So you could literally reach the highest rounds by using the one star towers if you really wanted, which is cool. The developer obviously knew what the players wanted with the other version because the more I play this game, the better it gets and more features I realize are available. This is basically everything I was looking for in a scaling TD style game, but it has stuff that I didn’t even know I wanted. They did a great job 👏 Only thing I will say, I wish the IAP for permanent upgrades were a little cheaper, but I understand, you need to make money. I would definitely like to support the game but don’t have money to do so at this time. I will probably end up getting the kill xp upgrade since evolution is probably my favorite feature of the game, but even with not spending anything the game is solid and well rounded. Definitely earns the 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️To the developer, great job, thank you for sharing this version, I put a lot of time(and some money) into the older version and can say without a doubt this is just a way better version. I wish I would have saved that money to put into this version though haha 🤙

I have played Idle monster td from iron horse for years. After my first few minutes of playing, I wrote this off as a knockoff of a game that I am fond of. I’ve come to find that this is a true sequel to the original game. If you are looking for an app worth playing for more than a day, then I HIGHLY recommend this game. The original contained multiple lines of upgrades, spells, tournaments, special events, and other small tidbits that made me come back everyday. This sequel has all of that and more.

I am the same developer who made Idle Monster TD, published by Iron Horse Games. However, I chose to publish this sequel to IMTD myself, rather than through Iron Horse Games. This is a sequel - not a knock off. So there is no ripping off of anything here - I can't steal from myself :). But thank you for your concern and for recommending my old game! Many of the mechanics in this "evolved" sequel are indeed very similar to its predecessor's, but the gameplay, balance, pacing, performance, and quality of life changes are significantly different and make this feel like a totally new game. The longer you play, the more you'll notice how different it truly is. Also, there's a variety of brand new skills and features such as evolution that make this game a huge improvement over its predecessor :). There's also a massive new "Pets" feature coming out next week, where you can assign cute little pet creatures to all your monster towers!

This game rips off absolutely everything from the game Idle Monster TD made by Iron Horse. Everything from the powerups, abilities, prestige…everything is nearly exactly the same.Edit: updated my rating because of dev response. With so many games trying to copy on the app store and the similar title, it made me think there was someone copying everything from the ground up.However, it would seem very difficult to copy this kind of game as far as dmg, abilities, timing, etc.

Great mix of strategy, mindless gameplay, and replay ability

Game has great mechanics and as you play you kinda learn some strategies which is very satisfying. It has no ads (that are mandatory) although you’ll find yourself purposefully watching them to gain rewards. It does well to reward you for time with a quick premium currency income. There’s always something to do and it has a great community behind it! A need for a road trip or a time filler.
