Whether during a video conference (on Zoom, Slack, Discord, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype, FaceTime, among others) or streaming a video (on YouTube or any other streaming platform), always have control of your microphone. With MicControl you can mute and unmute your microphone at any time using a keyboard shortcut or by right clicking (you can swap buttons in the settings screen) on the icon visible in the system menu bar. No more searching for the browser tab or application window that is using the microphone. Preserve your privacy. With MicControl you know when your microphone is being used by another application. — Core features — ◆ Press to talk: Press and hold hotkeys (default is option+space) to unmute your microphone. Release the hotkeys to mute your microphone again. ◆ Toggle Mute: Quickly press and release hotkeys to unmute or mute the microphone. ◆ Change the system default microphone by clicking the application icon on the system menu bar, then press and hold the option/alt key and click the microphone name. ◆ Mute or unmute any microphone by clicking the application icon in the system menu bar, then press and hold the control key and click the microphone name. ◆ Minimal interface in the system menu bar that shows whether your microphone is muted or not. ◆ Floating indicator that shows when the microphone is being used by another application. ◆ Customizable hotkeys. ◆ Option to open the app on login (It's disabled by default).
