I feel like I was to unsubscribe because of the app

This app has messed up my earbud sound for any app, I think I have to unpair them and repair them. You can’t watch/listen to something out of the app, listening to something even Picture in Picture closes when you try to do something else in your phone and it’s hard to find your place on what you were watching. I’ve paid for this subscription for more than a year but hardly use because the app is bad and I forget about the things I sign up for. Maybe push notifications would be better than emails. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Sad because I signed up right in the beginning and I kept it to keep the discounted price but I’ve wasted my money because I haven’t used it. I thought it was neat to listen to live classes but never got to any.

Terrible app full of glitches
Good content, terrible app.
This is a review of the app itself, not the content. I have purchased material before from this company and was surprised that this time around, I was forced to use their own app instead of the music app on my iPhone. I really wanted to use the Music app on my phone because it is where I keep all of my materials and it is also easy for when I am driving. I contacted the company by email several times on this topic without a single response. I eventually called them and the person who answered the call had no knowledge whatsoever of the app and was unable to help me. The app will freeze constantly and not restart. When it is working, you have no indication of where you are in the material. No chapter is mentioned. it is also somewhat dangerous in the car since you cannot view it from your screen, only on the phone’s screen itself. in essence, it is like the music app without all of the useful features and the ease of use. It feels like my purchase is being kept hostage, as I am only able to use it through this app, something that should be illegal.

Bought an online course then spent a lot of time trying to access it. Could not access via Safari browser on iPad, so was forced to get app which took multiple tries to download on iPad. App is not intuitive and, after finally accessing the course, repeatedly stopped and asked to sign in. Then it rejected my password and prompted me to reset it. Oddly, content found its way to my browser where I was able to play without disruption. In the meantime, erroneously subscribed to membership and had to contact customer support to cancel because only option on the app was to “pause” the subscription. I feel like Sounds True is a karmic exercise testing my ability to detach from feelings of frustration. 😅

I paid over $100 for a course I can’t access. The app is trying to send me to a second app (Thinkific) to view my course and there is no way to browse Thinkific and it does not recognize the course name or Sounds True or anything. Horrible experience, waste of money. No idea when I’ll hear from support. And Sounds True has no website. Just the app. So I can’t try to get to my course that way. They didn’t send any clear, detailed instructions. No mention of having to find a way to find the course on Thinkific. They need to update instructions, email funnels, etc. Very disappointed in a company I used to love. Do better!UPDATE: I’ve talked to support twice. They are extremely unhelpful. I still can’t access the course that I paid over $100 for. Very frustrating! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
