Hands-free audio stories that play automatically as you drive, walk or bike. Download a collection and hear the history around you — no tapping, no signal needed.
Stories that find you.
Open Audio Tours plays the story of a place the moment you reach it. Drive the interstate, walk a historic downtown, or ride a mountain trail — your phone stays in your pocket or on the dash, and the narration starts on its own as you pass each site.
Made for the road and the trail
• Plays automatically as you travel — no tapping, no reading, eyes on the road
• Keeps playing with your phone locked or another app open
• Works with your car audio, CarPlay, earbuds or headphones
• Go at your own pace, any day, any time — no schedules, no reservations
Collections worth the trip
Choose a collection — a highway corridor, a walking tour, a trail ride — and the app focuses on its sites. Hear a short spoken introduction before you start, track your progress, and earn a badge when you reach the goal. Some collections are free; others are premium tours from local historians and organizations.
No signal? No problem
Download a collection before you go and it works fully offline — ideal for back roads, mountain passes and long stretches between towns.
Free Range
Just go. With no collection active, the app plays nearby sites wherever you are.
Your location stays yours
Your location is used only to play the right story at the right place. It's never stored on our servers or shared with anyone.
