An internet connection is needed for the first community catalog download. After that, browsing, search, and saved recipes work offline. No account or subscription is required. The app includes 32 original starter recipes and includes AI-generated serving illustrations for every recipe. Recipes saved in earlier versions remain in your cookbook; remote photos are no longer loaded. Ingredient checkmarks and cooking progress last while a recipe is open.
Community recipe text comes from Wikibooks contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0, with source links and attribution. The collection was adapted from Recipe Context Protocol. Simplies originals were drafted with AI assistance. Recipes have not been independently kitchen-tested by Simplies; cooking times are estimates, and unavailable times and serving sizes are left unspecified.
Every recipe now has a serving illustration. Change people and meals to scale ingredient amounts, then tap a measurement pill to switch compatible units. Kitchen-friendly rounding keeps amounts practical. Includes recipe collection and usability improvements.
