Ratings and Reviews
Alwaays something
I've been using Suitcase for decades. And, upgrdes have always been problematic. Tech support is horrible and the robo chat is even "smarter" nowadays. I haven't been able to use the Connect app for about a helf year because of plugin issues. I finally broke down and bought a new computer to get my fonts back. I had been using another app because tech support is so pathetic. It took hours to fainlly get the app to download and reinstall. Most sofware companies UI allow you to see past purchsaes and download updates from the same page. Better apps direct you through the entire upgrade process without having to change a password. Not this company.
I am giving the app TWO STARS because I'm a loyal customer—it's great when it works—but any upgrades will result in automatic downtime and loss of productivity. It's ALWAYS SOMETHING!
I was confused by the rollout of the updated app and branding
I think that Extensis could have done a better job rolling out this major change. At first, I thought the only way to access the app was through a browser extension. I finally discovered the desktop application download which is, from everything I can see early on, pretty much the same as Suitcase Fusion. Thanks for keeping the desktop version alive, Extensis.
A dud, so far
I upgraded Suitcase to Connect and downloaded this Safari plugin.
I can't seen to get it to work. The instructions prompt you to "Quit and Open Safari Extensions Preferences…"
I tried every possible interpretation of that message and the extension fails to show up in Safari Extension Preferences.
Half-baked?
