The development team has worked diligently to mark the locations of items and enemies and lots of other things, making this invaluable in finding what you’re looking for. I’ve been using this for playthroughs after my first completion of the game and it’s helped me find some things I missed (or want to skip in subsequent playthroughs). It allows you to choose what you want to see shown on the map and can pick from basically anything that you can find in-game (runes, scarabs, crafting mats, enemies, etc.). You can track and search bosses, weapons, sorceries and incantations, and all sorts of things with checklists — particularly nice for those seeking the armament and similar achievements. It’ll show where imp statues and hidden passages are as well. For example, you can just have smithing stones visible and go around the world picking those up. Or you can do what I’ve done and just run around an area and clear all the items and dungeons, check them off in the app and move on. Another neat thing is a damage calculator to play with if you’re interested in a specific weapon and are curious what your damage would be with your current stats. Ammunition and crafting materials found on corpses are not able to be marked as found on the map. Changing this is my only suggestion, just because it stupidly makes me feel good to see all the happy little green check marks in an area and leaves no room for doubt that I cleared it. My only slighty negative thing is that heavily condensed areas are hard to navigate, click and mark — if you’re like me and have a lot of options showing on the map anyways. Sometimes if you click on something it might list another item or two to chose from, but not necessarily all of them or in all the areas that a buildup occurs. This does not take away from the usefulness of the app however, more just something to consider when deciding what you want visible.

This companion app is definitely a must-have for anyone who is looking to get the most out of Elden Ring. It's neat and organized with all the information a player needs without having to scour the web for guides. It runs well, but users will miss out on good perks without a subscription or purchase of the developer's companion app. For someone who's used this app endlessly in my adventures through the realms, I'd say the $4 one-time purchase for removal of ads and full access is worth it. However, the app doesn't run as stable or smoothly as it does without advertisements if not paid for. That might deviate potential users who feel like they need to pay to not only get full access but to also receive decent functionality without ads. Also, the app still freezes and crashes from time to time, and I've had to recheck many areas I had already explored to keep the companion synchronized with my playthrough progress. A final note: the companion app has missed a few key items and other accessories that should've been labeled. Even though this isn't an official guide from the game developers, exempt and missing items on the companion only reinforce that this tool is not as reliable as it could be.These factors ultimately hold the app back from an excellent rating for me, but that could change down the line if the developer aims to go back and make updates. It's still an excellent tool for its purpose and should definitely be considered for completionist runs.

While using this guide, I’ve noticed several inaccuracies that can sometimes make exploration more confusing than helpful. Some POIs and item locations are noticeably offset from their actual in-game positions, duplicate entries occasionally appear on the map, and certain items seem to be missing entirely. One feature I’d also like to see added is the ability to check off materials and consumables, even when they’re found on corpses, to make completion tracking more consistent.Despite these shortcomings, the app does a lot of things exceptionally well. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, the artwork for POIs and items is excellent, and additional features such as the build planner add a lot of value. While there is room for improvement in terms of accuracy and completion tracking, it’s still one of the best companion apps available for Elden Ring.

I’ve been using this app recently and it has been a wonderful alternative to going on the internet everytime I need to remember how to get something, my only complaint is that some items from the dlc do not show up in the build editor or in the crafting side. I do know that the team is working diligently for everything but it’s just something I’m waiting on at the moment. Overall very good app from when I used it last
