Your smartphone allows you to reveal
what he calls permeable realities, these imaginary layers that decompose before your eyes.
For the project "the magic gesture", the hands come to life and reveal the work required to the creation of illusions.
The tablet or the phone act as a window on the magician's workshop, allowing us to assist, for a few seconds, to the factory of the impossible. Fascinated by the loss of reference marks, Romain Lalire, questions the real through a multidisciplinary approach. It is during his training in the art of mime in the international school of mimodrama Marcel Marceau that the question of the materialization of the invisible became one of its axes of his research. Claiming his desire to reveal what is the most beautiful in the invisible, while transforming it into image through different mediums, Romain will over time, make evolve his mediums, moving from mime to magic then to the visual art, sliding towards to new ways of revealing and sublimate the invisible and the ineffable by the through new technologies.
