Standard mind maps tend to get cluttered as they expand. Matryoshka Mind Map nests child elements inside their parents, letting you drill down one level at a time with a tap. You can also work with it directly through AI agents like Claude. Swipe to navigate between hierarchy levels, or turn a developed branch into a standalone map. Switch to TODO mode to use it as a checklist. Sharing is as simple as specifying an email address.
This is a mind map designed for "digging deep" into ideas rather than "spreading them out."
Child elements are drawn inside the parent card. Like Matryoshka dolls — where smaller ideas sit within larger ones — the visual layout reflects this nesting; tapping zooms in and takes you one level deeper, while returning shrinks the view back to the original position. No matter how deep you go, you never lose track of which idea you're currently exploring.
■ Connect directly with AI agents
We've released a free, open-source companion tool that lets MCP-compatible AI agents like Claude Desktop and Claude Code read and write your mind maps directly through chat. Just say "organize what we talked about into a map" or "I finished that task," and it's reflected in your map.
■ Reshape the hierarchy with your finger
・Tap — drill into that element
・Swipe right — demote it to a child of the element above
・Swipe left — promote it up to the parent level
・Drag — reorder within the same level
・Double-tap — edit the text
・Swipe right from the screen edge — go back one level
■ Spin off or merge branches
Swipe a top-level element left to split it, along with everything underneath it, into a new standalone mind map.
You can also "merge" maps back together into one.
Split off a note once it's grown too big, or bundle related notes together — the structure can always be reorganized later.
■ Use it as a TODO list
Choose "TODO" when creating a map and every element gets a checkbox.
Checking a parent marks everything underneath it as done too.
Bulk-delete checked items or uncheck everything, both with one tap.
