Great Americana station, much improved app

WMOT is the best station in Nashville and one of the best in the country IMO. Consistently good DJs and Americana programs (both homegrown ones like BelAir Drive and Strange Roots and syndicated ones like American Routes and E-Town). This app makes it easy to get our fix wherever we are, and now lets us pull down lots of great shows on demand. Keep it up, y’all.

WMOT is the best station in Nashville and one of the best in the country IMO. Consistently good DJs and Americana programs (both homegrown ones like BelAir Drive and Strange Roots and syndicated ones like American Routes and E-Town). This app makes it easy to get our fix wherever we are, and now lets us pull down lots of great shows on demand. Keep it up, y’all.

I live in Knoxville, TN and love WDVX but my daughter goes to MTSU(Go Blue!) and told me about WMOT. I absolutely love the music they play, have an amazingly diverse playlist and you’ll never hear the same song in a day! I’m SO happy to have the app instead of having to listen through Tune-In.

Love the station. The app frequently doesn’t show the now playing song, either in the app or on the CarPlay display. Not sure if this is an app issue or a communication issue between the station and the app. Either way on a recent 12 hour road trip when it wasn’t working most of time it was frustrating.

I love the consistent high quality of WMOT’s music and on-air hosts. (Are they still called DJs?). Almost every day I hear an inspiring artist I’ve never heard. WMOT is an emotional anchor in a world that seems increasingly unstable. Music has that power!
