Overall the app works pretty well and connects quickly to the Elite Optimus Prime. My biggest frustration comes from using the virtual control stick for both Robot and Vehicle modes. Transitioning from the forward action to a diagonal action is very very inconsistent. For instance driving in truck mode and trying to turn will work sometimes but then most other times the truck stops and beeps the horn. It has such a narrow area where you have to hold you thumb to get this to work which is tough because most of the time you want to watch the robot move around not the screen! I’ve tried using an iPad and its bigger screen helps a bit but still seems too fussy overall. Makes playing with Optimus in remote control mode less fun overall. Hope this input mechanism can be improved in a future update. It’s an absolutely amazing toy with just a mediocre app.

Some improvements needed sure, but overall liking the app. One thing I would like to see is the ability to have him set to turn around after transforming like the flagship can do.

Manual says go to app to download additional actions such as “guitar pose” and it’s nowhere to be found. This is inexcusable!
