Been playing for a couple days and made it to 7-1 and bonus 3-3 so far. The crit immunity for bonus 3-3 is crazy tough but still enjoyably difficult. Stages and bosses all feel unique, and sometimes it’s crucial to choose upgrades for your character to cut projectiles more easily, which is a good thing as it lends itself to putting more thought into the upgrades you choose. However, I haven’t gotten to experiment much with different soul/ball builds since it’s so cumbersome to change between builds, since it’s so important where you place your souls. A way to save a build or deck or whatever and easily switch between them would be amazing, other than that a pretty fun game to play on and off throughout the day. Oh also another way to earn gems would be nice.

Fun game and lovely sprites. Not player friendly. You get a lot of unnecessary stamina through level up and stage clear. Once you’re stuck at a level because of damage it’s very hard to continue on unless you get lucky from the summons or bomb enhancement. Both are difficult as you only can get gems from first clears, level, in-game purchase, or events(?). I think it will be better if there are extra stages as you only can use stamina in the normal stages. There is really no point in replaying the stages unless you’re grinding for money to upgrade bombs and units. (3/9/23) After a week playing the game. There is still a hard block when in comes to progress. I find the free summon every 24hr very generous. Getting gems is still very slow, however the 750 gems from the attendance on day 2, 4, and 6 is very generous. But I’m not sure if it’s just the first week you start playing or it restarts. Obtaining bombs and bomb powder to rank up bombs is difficult. Bonus stages is hard but rewards (gems and powder) is worth it. I wish they can tell me the different elemental affects or if there is elemental advantages. Also maybe a list of all stats. For example total crit %? Very confused on how the critical system and the elemental damage works. I assume the bigger numbers suggest critical but even if my bombs+sprites gives me over 100% crit stats when combining all critical % chance I don’t see the damage. Is there a difference between the give me element vs increase element boost during level up?

I definitely think this game has a lot of potential. Some food for thought for this game that I’ve encountered that hopefully the devs implement.- Implement a leaderboard + clan/guild. It will make the game more engaging and competitive.- Better translation for soul and bomb abilities.- As a beginner, once you’re stuck, you’re HARD stuck unless u pay a little bit for soul summons and get lucky for the team you’re building or you mindlessly grind the same stage until you have enough money to upgrade your souls/bombs. Implement ways of improving instead of waiting for 3 bonus stages every 24 hours. If not it gets repetitive and boring. - Implement different ways to get bombs powder. When you’re hard stuck, there’s no way of getting more bombs to grind into bomb powder. - Maybe this is just me, but I would love to see more variety in bombs that benefit specific souls. That would really strengthen your souls and devs can increase difficulty in the later stages. Overall, I love playing this game, hence I’m leaving this review.

This game was very fun to play up until the most recent update. I enjoyed the pacing of things and building my team a certain way. However, all the changes made to the game incredibly nerfed the teams, bombs, and made the game less f2p. What makes this worse, is that they changed what paid content does, to that point that the paid skins/characters have very little or no utility anymore. The fact that they changed what players have already paid for, without consulting the player is insane. I’ve never seen an app do this, and I’ve been playing mobile games for a long time. Balancing is important, but a large change like this should be made before the game is released. This seems like a major oversight. Regardless, new players starting to play this game after this update will find the game to be fun and rewarding.
