In den letzten Jahren ist das Wort Nachhaltigkeit in aller Munde. Ein wichtiger Aspekt dieser Nachhaltigkeit ist unser ökologischer Fussabdruck, sowie die Art und Weise, wie wir uns ernähren. Die App «Klimarechner: Ernährung» ermöglicht es, sich ein Emissions-Ziel zu setzen und mithilfe von stetiger Aufzeichnung der konsumierten Gerichte zu messen, wie gut dieses erfüllt wird. Die App zeigt an, wieviel CO2 dabei emittiert wird. Alle eingegebenen Gerichte werden mit einem optimalen Teller verglichen und bewertet.
Zusätzlich bietet die App Informationen und Tipps rund um das Thema Essen und nachhaltige Ernährung, sowie zahlreiche klimafreundliche Rezepte.
«Klimarechner: Ernährung» wurde als Interdisziplinäre Projektarbeit (IDPA) im Bereich Informatik von Léon Lopetrone, Nils Rothenbühler und Elia Schenker an der Kantonsschule Hottingen in Zürich entwickelt.
