Whether looking to extend a helping hand or ask for support, Silend is a peer-to-peer lending app that allows you to do so anonymously with no strings attached. With Silend, you can rebuild a sense of community!
How It Works
Silend is geo-based, so donors and receivers are shown within a one mile radius of their physical location. Funds are only available for basic needs, including food, clothing, and shelter. A maximum of $100 may be received at a time. There are no interest rates or loans, so everyone can give or get with peace of mind. All we ask is that when you are able you Pay it Forward!

I came across this app through social media and decided to give it a try. I always wanted to be there for someone else I just didn’t know how or where to get started. I love that I’m able to give back to someone who really needs it without questions asked. I see this app as a community of people helping others. My hope is that others learn about this app and give too. Pay it forward!App functionality is continuously improving too!

So I tested this app with a friend sitting next to me and worked exactly as advertised. My friend sent a request that shows as “anonymous member” on my phone. I sent $10 on Silend and my friend instantly received the $10 into their PayPal account. Very secure and I love the privacy, I can help who I want - when I want. Highly recommend

It seems like there a million donation type apps and you can never be sure if you’re actually helping someone. With the Silend App, I love the geo location feature where I can be sure it’s an actual neighbor I’m helping! I just wish more people knew about this app. 5/5 stars!!!
Added New Features:
1) Add push notifications for new requests within 1 mile.
2) Open user requests from pin on map
3)Search map by using zip code
4) Add community details in two separate pop ups
