Amigra
Places of Migration
Free
The Amigra app takes you on a journey of discovery through the history of migration in Augsburg and Nuremberg. Many places are connected to migration. There are sites where moving, sad, curious, and even inspiring storylines unfolded—stories tied to people coming and going. With the app, you’ll discover what lies behind facades or beneath the pavement. Explore the cities of Augsburg and Nuremberg either on-site or from home and learn how they’ve been shaped by migration. You can access information about any Point of Interest (POI) directly on the zoomable map, from the list of POIs, or via the “Topics” module. An additional feature is the Worldmap Experience, which illustrates the migration routes of some individual persons on a world map.
The app can be used with or without a mobile data connection. When GPS is enabled, your location is displayed.
