Calling all Foodies! Welcome to the Foodage App. Our app is a new social media app that allows
foodies to connect and share their experiences at restaurants around the world. If you are
someone who loves to post photos of your food and share among your friends, Foodage is the
perfect app for you. Foodage is dedicated solely to sharing your food experience, while also
allowing users to like, comment, or share their friends’ experiences. Our goal with this app is to
create a community of users to help other users gain insight in to trying new and exciting
restaurants, and let their followers know what their experience was like. The question of
“Where do you want to eat” or “what sounds good to you” will become questions of the past,
as the Foodage app will let you directly see what is popular among your friends and open the
idea of trying new places.
Not only will the Foodage App be a social media platform where users can share their
experiences with their friends, Foodage is also a place for people to interact with restaurants
and let the restaurants know about their experience. Each post on our app will include photos
and/or a review. The user will have the choice to either post just a few photos to show their
experience, or the user can go into more detail and provide a review based on our general
review template. These posts will be posted directly to the restaurant’s dedicated page, where
all of the posts and reviews will be consolidated. Also, on this restaurant page is information
related the specific restaurant, including address, hours of operation, and phone number. Users
can also filter for specific reviews, whether they want to see the top-rated reviews, most recent
reviews, etc. Restaurants can use this information to better serve their customers and run
promotions directly from our Foodage App.
The Foodage App will also allow users to make educated decisions on where they want to eat.
Whether you are looking for the best burger in town, or are craving sushi, Foodage allows you
to search for any type of cuisine and find the best place. Users can also utilize the popular page
to see popular reviews from all across the United States from the entire Foodage community.
As reviews and photos will be shared directly to the restaurant page, users will be able to see
what the public is saying about their experience at the specific restaurant. Having the ability to
see the review of a place from one of your friends or from what someone else said about the
restaurant will let you know what they liked, or didn’t like about the restaurant, and allow you
make an informed decision on if it is a place you might want to try yourself.
Whether you are someone who wants to share their food experience with their friends or the
Foodage community, or someone who is simply just looking for new places to eat, the Foodage
App welcomes everyone to download our app and be a part of the Foodage Community.
