It’s been months with the app at this point and I’ve continued to find it a passive yet engaging way to earn sats daily. There are features of the app I still haven’t tried and plan to (like liquidity) and features I hope will come to my country soon (simple earn). So there’s always something to look forward to. So whether you take a passive approach like me or a more active one (like playing Miner Wars) there’s something fro everyone.Original review: like using the GoMining app because I am a part of an international community. I know that many if not most users of the app are English speaking but as an American of an immigrant background the overall international vibe of the app make me feel especially welcome. And in discord I can communicate with people who speak German and Spanish. I’m a cerebral investor here for the long haul and I feel I’ve found like minded people in this community. I’ve learned a ton about Bitcoin and crypto in the weeks I’ve used GoMining. As bitcoin mining evolves I feel sure that I’ll learn a lot from being here regardless of how my investment works out and that means a lot to me.Update 12/24: I’ve used the app for a few months now. I’ve been able to withdraw Bitcoin to my cold wallet from my existing investments. And I’ve been comfortable with the community and have met with folks with an ongoing relationship. Because I saw myself getting close to ROI with my initial small investment, I decided to invest more in. This ecosystem has potential and good smart people involved and I’m proud to be part of it.

I've been using GoMining for about a year now, and it seems like the app is getting better and better with time. I once said the app is fun and intuitive, but the price per TH is a barrier for entry. You spend hundreds of dollars to get very minimal profit, which does still ring true. However, the GoMining team has frequently made price cuts to upgrades in response to low BTC prices. This definitely helps lower the barrier for people to start mining or expand their farms, which is a huge win for the community. I also appreciate the improvements that are constantly being made to the app, such as more currencies that can be sent directly to the app, better bounty tasks, learning modules, and GoBoxes. One big change that I'm particularly excited about is the change that makes the service button available at 00:00 UTC instead of 24 hours after the last service. Community members such as myself have been asking for this for awhile, so it's fantastic to know the GoMining team has been listening to us. Moving forward, I would love for GoMining to support lightning addresses so I can send sats from ZBD to GoMining. I would also love to see other ways to get a reduced price per TH or improved profit per TH outside of BTC price drops. If I see better profit after spending hundreds of dollars, I'm more willing to spend more to increase profit.

It is a cool concept and idea, but they are constantly making changes. The changes seem to always reduce profitability. It is not super transparent because you start out with a little to try it, get comfortable, then invest more and the rug is pulled out from under you. I hate the recent change to requiring holding go mining tokens for discount. It used to be pay in go mining tokens for discount. Now if you do not hold an obscene amount of tokens you do not get any discount. Before you could instantly get discount by choosing to pay a small amount for service. Now, even if you hold the large amount of tokens, as you spend, your discount amount would drop because you are no longer holding. I do not see the purpose of the tokens for small position holders, it only has benefits to large holders and turns the app into a bank toeing up capital for a low too discount. You cannot use the estimator to calculate your too when you first buy, because you can be sure they will make changes that significantly lower your too over the time period that would be needed to see returns. My gripe is the changes consciously made by developer not the fluctuations in bitcoin prices that are expected. The GoMining tokens are useless to small holders but the use is trying to be forced for profit because it is part of the overall economy. There is always a news release on why changes are better, but the results are the small users make less with each change evidenced in payout.

So to start, I’ve never been into crypto, im just now dipping my toes into the scene, but I was thinking about getting into it when i was shown this app through an ad.I was skeptical at first, it definitely sounds too good to be true, but i went ahead and downloaded the app anyways, they give you a trial miner to start (I started before halving and I’m still here!) and i liked what i saw, so i went ahead and did my KYC (ALWAYS do that first before buying!) and bought my first miner.. then another.. and then another. I watched my rewards go up and what do ya know, they actually sent it! Its automatic, so when you reach the threshold for rewards it sends to your wallet. I have made about $50 so far (im only at 18TH and it’s after halving) but i see this app going far honestly, my experience with support has been great, a little slow at times but they were helpful. This isn’t a project that’ll get you rich quick, and you’re gonna have to pour some money into it, but im doing it little by little, upgrades and maybe a new miner every so often, definitely not in the “rich” category but i can spare a few dollars on this app every once in a while.My honest thoughts are: this app is great if you can’t afford/don’t have space for a real miner, it saves money in upkeep, and it’s pretty dang cheap, i mean rn its like $24 for one miner? Give this app a shot! I like being able to just press a button and get a little extra discount in maintenance, and other than that you just sit back and let the sats roll in, overall great app, some issues with it being slow and getting logged out, but it’s never went out on me.
