I utilize Lingard as a tool to learn Spanish, I meet with a tutor 3xs a week. Lingard assists me with new vocabulary learned via flash cards, they also have great learning drills, and have an option to learn how to spell the word. I don’t want to know Spanish and be illiterate, so this feature is one of my favorites. Lingards books have helped me understand sentence structure as well as improve my listening/ reading skills Honestly if they had a life time subscription option I would purchase it.

This is the worst app I’ve ever attempted to use, keyword, attempted. I was trying to read this short 3 MINUTE story, and kept getting attacked by adds for the premium version. When I was trying to click on the story, it kept showing me what was available for the free version, and what was available for the premium version. At this point I was getting really mad about the amount of adds thrown in my face, but this is the part that ticked me off more than anything. I tried to click on the book to read it assuming that since the list said that was like the only thing you could do for free on this app that it would let me… NOPE! It wouldn’t let me read the dang thing. Now PLEASE stop lying to customers and just say that NOTHING is free on the app!

Items with a padlock are part of the Pro version.If you ever want to read the locked books, we offer a 7-day free trial to test all Pro features without restrictions. Hello, I’ve noticed that the iPhone version of the app includes the phonetic alphabet for words, which is really helpful for learning pronunciation. However, it seems to be missing from the iPad version. Would it be possible to add this feature to the iPad version as well?Additionally, I’ve found that in general the meanings provided for words don’t match their exact meaning within the context of the sentence. It would be great if this could be taken into account too, and if the app could be updated to reflect the correct meanings of words as they’re used in sentences.I’d greatly appreciate these updates—thank you so much for considering them!

This is clearly one of the best language resources available today. There are a few issues with the summary test where there are duplicate correct answers and choosing the wrong one will get you graded incorrectly. Nevertheless there is a wealth of reading material and so many combinations of word phrases or just words to commit to long term memory utilizing their robust testing sequence. Not to mention that the testing function is fully customizable with the ability to save your preferred method. I really enjoy Lingard and I’m glad I found you guys. This is going to be a fun year of learning. (Fix the summary test and the fifth star is all yours guys 😅)
