(Edited to reduce length and include more recent thoughts) Two stars because I was having so much fun at first, and the visuals are all very nice. I was stoked for this gameand I had been waiting to see it in English forever. I get to play for about an hour before I realize that the player will exclusively be referred to with she/her pronouns, and be called “girl” and “miss”, among other things. A lot. I tried to ignore it, but as a trans guy, it was really getting to me and it just kept happening. If you’re not a girl and being misgendered is something that bothers you, please heed my warnings. It’s done VERY often. Edit: bumping up to four stars because I picked it back up due to peer pressure (lol) and it really is a game I’ve come to enjoy despite my issues with it (hence the missing star). Other reviews seem to be targeting me and other trans guys though, which I don’t really appreciate, considering all we did was vent our rightful frustrations with an automatically female protag that isn’t hinted at or introduced AT ALL in this version of the game, leading to unexpected dysphoria. And if the protag is already an “established character”… why do the characters call us our chosen name?? (Though, it was almost funny the first time they called me “miss”, followed by my masculine name lol.) Sorry, but new players should be aware the protag situation was handled poorly in this game, regardless on if there’s already an established one or not. That’s all I really have to say, and thank you for taking the time to read this if you did 💕 sorry it became an essay P.S. stan arashi
I really enjoy this game

Since I installed the game I have like it, is entertaining, the characters are interesting even the plot of the game is interesting. It has a good music, excellent graphics in the lives, good costume and character design, it puts various types of events all the time, I like that they add furniture and I can decorate the office however I like. It makes me happy when the characters congratulate me on my birthday; I know having a person come to congratulate in your birthday is not the same as having a fictional character from a game congratulate you, but since I am somewhat reserved and antisocial I am satisfied that my favorite character is congratulating my on my birthday. I even like the game has to put the phone call option I am not used to making phone calls, so at first it seemed strange to me that a character called me on the phone it even makes me want to answer their call, because I feel happy they call me on the phone. The only thing that frustrates me is that the game don’t always give me the card of my favorite characters. I have become attached to some characters among them are Kohaku and Tsukasa since I saw them I have to become more obsessed with them I don’t if that’s good or bad I want to have all the cards of the cousins but the game don’t always give them to me, in this case when they put the event secret swan part b instead of give me the card sonata of wings card they give me two repeats of Ibara and Jun cards And always wanted the card leader of loyalty Now I want their cards from the sudden death event

Dear producer, Thank you for your support, please enjoy the game~
I have some feedback and some ideas!

First of all, great game, i love your characters, the storyline, and the music/lives, and everything else! The characters first, I love them they are so creative and i love the costumes. Just one thing about the characters i think there could be more of them, and maybe more groups? Maybe you can make bigger groups and more content with them like a major update! Second the storyline, it’s so good! but i feel like it needs a touch like maybe some things to actually do except sing live? Which speaking of live.. Third is live, there are SUCH GOOD SONGS WHOEVER WROTE THEM AND CHOREOGRAPHED THEM SHOULD GET PROMOTED! I mean seriously they are freaking good! But i think we could expand on that though.. Maybe me and my brother were thinking it would be cool if when you messed up a lyric or something it would also affect the members too, that would be so cool! Okay next just some random things i think i want you to add okay here a list of stuff maybe and i’ll talk more about it.-More scout stuff? and make it longer? I think we need more limited scouts that can last longer and maybe so more people have a chance, make the chances of getting 5 stars harder!-Speaking of that i think you should make more cards. I think there should be more 5 stars and more of the other stars!Anyways I love this game and keep working on it give me feedback when you read this!

A fun and enjoyable idol/rhythm game
korkiancult
As an avid rhythm game fan, when I saw this in my recommended games section, I had to download it. I had vaguely heard of Ensemble Stars on the Internet, and it appeared to be your average idol rhythm game. However, this game was more delightful than I expected. The tutorial explains the games functions in a brief yet understandable manner, and the game’s UI is very simple and clean. As for the characters, there are a multitude of idol groups to choose from, and the voice acting is pretty good. The songs are catchy and the 3D MV’s are top tier (like seriously, the MV’s blew me away with how smooth the animation was). The actual rhythm game part took me a bit to get used to, but is pretty fun when you get the hang of it. (I also like how you can customize the note look and sound) At the time of writing this, the game has only been released for a couple of weeks, so some parts of the game are still locked (like the Ensemble Live function). My only complaint (which is opinionated) is that there are a LOT of characters, like almost too many. It’s hard to level up each card because there’s a lot of them, but this is more of a personal problem for me because I’m a completionist and like having every card maxed out. Overall, a very fun game that every rhythm game enthusiast should play (or anybody, really).
