Just opened an account to lock-in early member rates of 0.5x points. I am quite young so I just opened a Blue account, but excited by the prospect of this. I was a little worried about trust as first, but IKBR has been around a while so that put me at ease. The main founder I’ve seen in interviews seems relatively open and straight forward too, which is appreciated, though I don’t think I like how many changes are happening/the lack of guarantee of the 0.5x rate. I have two main concerns and the first is longevity. The second is that the interface is almost “too” simple in my opinion. Obviously you can and should go to external sites for information, but it’s not immediately apparent what stock/etf options are available and you can’t see full ETF holdings, price graphs, etc. Overall excited about the offerings though and hope it remains sustainable for them and for us.

I dismissed Silo a few months ago because I didn’t trust a company that so frequently changed its rewards structure for the worse with vague notions of how the rewards might be able to be used in the future, but now that they’re about to change it a third time I decided to sign up to lock in the better rate. Time will tell whether Silo is the real deal and can deliver on what it’s promising (multiple transfer partners), and figured it’s worth the $95 to join and find out. I found the enrollment process confusing because it asked for incoming brokerage transfer details on both the Silo and IBKR ends, resulting in a double submission transfer, one of which was rejected as a duplicate. Wasn’t a problem for me because I was doing a whole account transfer, but if transferring a specific number of shares or cash it could really trip someone up. Other than that enrollment has been smooth. I hope Silo gets on solid footing and works out all the kinks so it can deliver on its promise of earning transferrable points based on assets held.

I've been using Silo for a few months now and it's getting better all the time. There are still a few things I'd love to see improved. The real time quotes on my positions are not always up to date, and I'd really like to see real-time account activity instead of waiting for my monthly statement.I'm also excited to see what transfer partners they add because I think the points will become a lot more valuable than just cashing them out. Overall, I think they're building a really solid platform, and you can tell they're making improvements regularly. I'd also love to see them lean even more into Al to make investing simpler and smarter. Looking forward to seeing where they take it.

I have been using this platform for a few months now. It has been a good experience so far. The initial onboarding issues were resolved fairly quickly and their team has always been helpful and friendly — great customer service! I would definitely recommend them for points & miles enthusiasts. They are disrupting the traditional investment platform by bringing points & miles to the space. Love it!
