Crafted Pour: Cocktail Recipes

Bartender Drinks You Can Make

Free

Pour in a link, snap a menu, or drop in a video. It comes back as a recipe you can edit before you post. We do the typing. The drink stays yours. Two drinks in and the bottle is still three quarters full, because nobody ever told you what else it could do. Stan Bissell will. Under his Bitter Godfather he wrote that the classic two-ingredient version ran too sweet for him, so he scaled back the amaretto and added orange bitters. Drinks from people who tasted them, fixed them, and then told you why. Publishing a recipe in this app means writing that story down, which is why the ones in here read like somebody actually made them. WHAT TO POUR TONIGHT - The classics, built properly: old fashioned, negroni, margarita, mojito, martini, daiquiri and the rest of the canon - Whiskey, bourbon, rum, vodka, gin and tequila, every ingredient measured and every tool listed - Something spicy when you want heat, from jalapeno-infused tequila to a chili salt rim - Mocktails and non-alcoholic pours that get the same care as everything else - Summer drinks for the porch and warm sippers for when the evenings turn - Cranberry pours for Thanksgiving and Christmas, cocktails for two on Valentine's Day, and batch recipes for when the guest list grows FINDING THE ONE - Search by drink when you know what you want, or by creator when you know whose taste you trust - Sort any category by featured, newest, most liked or A to Z, then filter by tag until the list looks like your evening - A photo of the finished drink, so you know what you are aiming for before you commit the good bottle - Tap the heart on anything worth remembering and My Cocktails becomes your bar book, the drinks you actually pour kept in one place - Rate what you make and leave the creator a note, so the good ones rise WHO POURED IT FIRST Marie is a lead mixologist in Bellevue. Her Apocalypse Punch is in here, and so is her photo, her Instagram, the rest of her drinks, and a tip jar if one of them earns it. Every recipe carries a name like hers: bartenders, mixologists, serious home enthusiasts, and the spirits brands behind the bottles. 5,400+ drinks and a person attached to each one. The AI in this app is a typist. It turns a creator's photo, video, link or scribbled napkin into ingredients and steps, and that creator approves every line before it posts. It does not invent drinks and it never signs one. The drink stays theirs, the typing was ours. If you have a recipe of your own worth sharing, the same door is open to you. Follow a bartender whose taste matches yours, tip them when a recipe earns it, and watch the bottles on your counter finally start getting used. Pull up a stool. Your next favorite drink is already in here.

Snap a photo of a cocktail menu and the drink comes back as a recipe. That is Recipe Import, and it takes a link or a video just as happily: ingredients and steps come back sorted, for you to approve before anything posts. We do the typing. The drink stays yours, in your words and under your name. The menu you photographed in June is a cocktail you can pour in January. Featured Products puts a shelf on the homepage for the bottles behind the recipes you love, restocked regularly. When a drink calls for something that is not on your counter, the bottle is a tap away instead of a note to yourself. Hundreds of new drinks have landed since our last update, including a whole non-alcoholic section worth pouring from, and search now reaches every one of them. Recipes that sat in the app without ever turning up in a search will turn up now. Everything moves better than it did. Your saved cocktails and every creator profile lead with their best drinks, the homepage no longer shows you the same recipes twice, and opening a category and scrolling no longer asks your phone to hold the whole bar at once, which older phones will feel most. The cocktail categories load on the home screen again. They moved to a new address and older versions could not follow them there, so that row came up empty. This one knows where to look. A recipe that features a brand we partner with now says so, on the recipe itself. Every shopping link confirms you are of age before it opens, and signing up is safer, because the password you confirm is the one you get. Sign in with Apple goes straight through, skipping the name screen, and signing back in got calmer, with no red text before you have typed anything. Shopping links credit the creator whose recipe sent you there more reliably, and editing a recipe keeps every detail you added. Smaller text throughout is darker and easier to read in daylight, and creator names sit whole in your search results. A card on first launch catches you up on all of it, then lives on under Profile, What's New. Everything we have shipped since February, in one update. Cheers, and keep pouring.
