Automatic penalty times. START and ON times now fill in when you enter a penalty, including stacked penalties. A power-play goal ends the minor automatically. You can still edit any time by hand. Clearer sign-in help. If you can't sign in, the app checks your connection first and tells you what's wrong, such as rink Wi-Fi problems. You can contact support with your details already filled in. Lineups lock at game start. Lineups sent from GameSheet Teams stop updating once you tap Start Game. Bug fixes and reliability improvements.

LiveBarn rink detection When you start a game at a LiveBarn-equipped arena, GameSheet Scoring now detects which rink you're at and links the game to its LiveBarn broadcast automatically. If more than one venue or rink is nearby, you'll be asked to confirm with a quick tap. The app will ask for location access the first time this runs; it is only used at game start and never changes the game's schedule details. Fixes • Scorekeeper Notes: the new-note form can be dismissed again on iOS 26 (Back and Cancel buttons restored).

Fixes a rare issue where tapping Lock & Upload as Wi-Fi reconnected could upload the same game twice.

What's New in 6.2.1 This release picks up where 6.2.0 left off, making scoring at rinks with spotty connectivity even more dependable: Locked games now upload themselves. If you're offline when a game wraps up, it uploads automatically the next time the iPad reconnects — no more remembering to come back and tap Upload. Coaches can sign anywhere. Signing a lineup no longer needs a connection — signatures save on the iPad and sync when you're back online. Lineup problems surface before the signature pad, in plain language, so they can be fixed on the spot instead of after the coach has signed. Players and coaches added at game time keep their identity in live scoring and stats, and a change made after signing (like the starting goalie) now sticks. Fixed an issue where a goal or penalty recorded while offline could be pre-filled with an out-of-date clock time. Thanks for scoring with GameSheet!

What's New in 6.2.0 This release makes live scoring more dependable, especially at rinks with spotty connectivity: Games now show up as "live" more reliably. When you open a game, it's registered for live viewing right away — so leagues, parents, and broadcast partners see your game the moment it starts, even if the connection at the rink is shaky. Faster game uploads. We removed some outdated behind-the-scenes steps, so locking and uploading a game completes quicker. Under-the-hood improvements to the live scoring engine that make it more stable and easier for us to keep improving. Thanks for scoring with GameSheet!

Minor bug fixes and enhancements.

This maintenance release improves penalty entry and referee notes: Penalty and game note pages have been refreshed — text notes are now the default, tables are cleaner, and full penalty names are shown Fixed duplicate penalty lines that could appear when editing a penalty with a linked companion (such as a double minor) The Officials/Post Game page now returns to the top after adding a referee Polished the penalty class selection layout for a consistent look on both teams

Minor bug fixes and enhancements

Smarter penalty entry -Enter penalties by class — pick the class first (Minor, Major, Misconduct…), then the code, so you land on the right penalty faster. -Automatic companion penalties — when a penalty requires another (e.g. a Major that carries a Game Misconduct), the second one is added for you, charged to the same player. -Double minors — penalties that count twice are now recorded as two automatically. -Cleaner post-game penalty view — redesigned table with major/misconduct penalties clearly highlighted, and a friendly nudge to add a note when a serious penalty has none. Lineups & goalies: -Starting goalie from remote lineups — a starter set in GameSheet Teams now carries through to the iPad, and a lone goalie is selected automatically. Fewer surprises: -End time always captured — games can no longer be uploaded without an end time, no matter which way you reach the finish. -Stability improvements — fixes to live-scoring and penalty-entry crashes for a smoother game.

Remote Lineups are here. Lineups set in the GameSheet Teams+ app now flow straight into your scoresheet — no more re-entering lineups at the rink: • Lineups arrive ready to go — players, jersey numbers, positions, starting goalie, and captains come in pre-set the moment a team publishes from the Team app. • Know at a glance — a new "Lineup set" checkmark shows which teams are ready, with a "Published by…" banner and a one-tap Check for Update if a coach makes a last-minute change. • Signatures carry over — coach signatures captured in the Team app come through automatically. • Accurate suspensions — player and coach suspension counts ("game X of Y") now display correctly on remotely-set lineups. • Plus stability improvements and polish throughout.
