Looking for a Jeopardy Buzzer, Family Feud Buzzer, Quiz Bowl Buzzer, Trivia Buzzer, or playing any kind of game where a buzzer is needed to decide who rang in first? This app is a wireless, easy, and free solution! One person plays as a Host, and then up to 15 other devices can join via Bluetooth as Players, or even more can join via the Internet. This app does NOT contain any questions, but it DOES allow you to add a way to "Buzz In", award points, and/or keep time to any game which calls for it.
The first Player to signal shows up as green on both his device and to the Host; the rest of the Players are then locked from answering until the Host clears, awards points, and allows more buzzing.
You can keep track of scores, and customize the value of right or wrong answers. You can group players into teams, and track scores by both player and by team. You can add optional Bonus Points if your game calls for it. You can even add a Game Timer to know when your game is done! Short on people? One person can serve as both the Player *and* the Host, awarding points while still being able to buzz in!
EZBuzzer could be used for Pub Trivia, Quiz Bowl / College Bowl, games such as Jeopardy or Family Feud, or classroom activities! Replace messy wired buzzer systems with ease...or add an impartial judge to your game instead of guessing who was first!
EZBuzzer works best over Bluetooth - no hassle with joining a WiFi network or dropped WiFi signals. Remote players can join too via the Internet, if desired. Initial start-up is simple: One person should sign on as a Host or PlayerHost, and then all others as Players. Nearby Players will automatically connect via Bluetooth to the Host, and then the fun can begin! Remote players can activate Internet functionality in settings, enter their Host's Room Code, and join as well.
Enjoy! Feedback is welcome!
Often run into problems with a player not being able to connect, or connect then suddenly in the middle of a game mysteriously lose the connection. No other iPhone functionality is affected when that happens. But I encourage the developer to keep working out the bugs, because it is a well thought out set of features for a bare bones, but functional buzzer system.

I have a HUGE jeopardy game coming up. Looked everyone for a buzzer system and came across this. Havent even used this yet but very excited to. Sorry if this isn’t helpful. I will review again once I test it out before the big game. But just a big thanks to the developer for making this!
Great app but…

EZBuzzer is a fantastic tool for game nights like Jeopardy. I love how it keeps score and lets me edit points. However, we ran into issues. Players kept getting disconnected, points didn’t update consistently, and logging in frustrated some players. Also, I’d love the option to subtract points without waiting for a buzz. I encourage the developers to improve Bluetooth reliability or offer alternatives. With these fixes, it could be perfect!

Thank you for the feedback! We have patched a lot of bugs in the last couple of months; if you are still seeing any issues please Contact Us through the app's Settings menu and we will take a look. Please note that more than 10 simultaneous Bluetooth connections *can* lead to unpredictable bluetooth behavior on some devices. If this might be part of your issue, try out a different device as your Host Device, or see if the problems persist with fewer connections. Also note that there is an option to connect via the Internet, which is automatically enabled when connecting via Bluetooth. This should help to serve as a backup in case of any Bluetooth issues, and can also be used "on demand" if you don't want to use Bluetooth at all.You can subtract points using the Bonus icon (bottom right of the Host screen) and just enter a negative point value. For any more questions or concerns, please reach out directly!
Needs just one tweak…

This buzzer has EXACTLY what I need…almost!Need a buzzer that shows the order of who buzzes in. Not just the 1st person. And you can turn off that setting…and it shows the first 3 players that buzz in. But I have 7 players…all with their own devices. And on their own device it shows what number they are in the answering order. But I need that on the host’s device! Wish it showed 4th, 5th, etc.
Developer Response
Thank you for the suggestion! We have updated the app to show the Player Buzz Order on the Host Screen for up to 10 Player Buzzes. Please check it out and let us know your feedback. Happy Buzzing!
Fix issue with Award Points window possibly cutting off long player names. Add icon to re-center Award Points window if the user has moved it. Fix issue with default Player and Game names. Enhance look and feel of Award Points window.
