Tiny caterpillars, big appetites! Tap a squad and watch them munch a pixel picture away, row by row. Cute, calm and satisfying.
Boltop is a calm, satisfying puzzle about tiny caterpillars with big appetites.
Every picture is made of glossy colored pieces, one piece per pixel. Tap a squad of caterpillars onto the dock and watch them crawl out, munch every piece of their color and wriggle home to their leaf, until the whole picture is gone.
TAP, THEN WATCH
One tap sends a whole squad crawling. Each caterpillar wears its squad's color, blinks its big eyes and gets a little rounder with every bite. You make a choice every few seconds and spend the rest of the time watching them munch, row by row.
PLAN THE ORDER
The caterpillars eat from the outside in, so the inner colors stay covered until the outer ones are gone. The dock has five spots. Send in a squad whose pieces are still covered and it waits on the dock. Fill every spot with waiting squads and the level ends. Pick the order well and the picture melts away.
TWISTS ALONG THE WAY
Linked squads are hitched together and move onto the dock as a pair. Mystery squads keep their color hidden until they reach the front. Every fifth picture is a Hard one, where a careless order runs out of room.
NO RUSH
There's no timer. If you run out of room, try the same picture again. Once the last squad sets off, the caterpillars hurry home on their own for a quick finish, and butterflies celebrate every cleared picture.
