You can’t choose anything except a farm to start no matter what you choose. The tutorial is strange and the box get clipped with the UI. Definitely disappointed.

New update: company mergers are now available.
After taking control of another company, you can now merge it into your own business empire. Completed mergers increase your company’s total shares and market capitalization, transfer eligible assets, and add +1% to your empire score.
This update expands the takeover system and gives advanced players a new way to grow through acquisitions, consolidation, and strategic empire building.
