Just Look! 1.3 speaks German, French, and Spanish, and is much faster with photos on a network drive. NOW IN YOUR LANGUAGE • The whole app is in German, French, and Spanish: menus, settings, alerts, and the Welcome window. • Photo terms match the ones Lightroom uses in each language. FASTER ON NETWORK DRIVES • Photos on a server or NAS are ready as you step through them. Just Look! reads the next files ahead. • Thumbnails and the Gallery fill much faster, on network drives and on your Mac's own disk. • Ratings, tags, and picks show soon after you open a network folder, and scrolling no longer freezes the window. FLIP • Flip Horizontal and Flip Vertical are in the Edit menu and the right-click menu. Free for everyone, like Rotate. • A flip animates, in the single view and in the Compare Grid. COMPARE GRID • Hold ⌥ Option to see which photo a gesture will align. Short tips show how to align and reset. • Click the badge on an aligned photo to reset it. The photo glides back into place. • Opening the Gallery no longer ends Compare. It comes back when you close the Gallery. • Zoom and pan are smooth with HEIC photos. • The window grows taller, not only wider, when you zoom. • Photos that are still loading show a spinner, and GIFs show their first frame. A NEW START WINDOW • The empty window has an Open button and your recent folders. • Open Recent shows each folder's path, and marks folders on a network drive or on a disk that isn't connected. • Choose how many recent folders to keep in Settings > General. • The Welcome window has a new Compare Grid page and marks the Pro commands. CROP • New option to save a crop as a copy next to the original, in Settings > Files. FIXES • Keyboard shortcuts work on German, Swedish, French, and other non-US keyboards. • A crop without straightening keeps every pixel sharp. • HDR images (OpenEXR, Radiance HDR, PFM) now show their saved rotation. • The "Unsupported Format" box of the previous photo no longer stays up while the next one loads. • Reset Image Transform is now called Reset Alignment.

Just Look! 1.2 adds two new ways to choose the shot you keep. COMPARE GRID • See 2 to 6 photos side by side. Press G to open it. • Press B to mark a photo as Best. It stays put while the others change. • Zoom in and every photo zooms with it. • Change the grid size with ⌥⌘] and ⌥⌘[. • The thumbnail strip outlines the photos in the grid. CROP AND STRAIGHTEN • Press C to crop. Pick a ratio or draw freely, and straighten a tilted horizon. • After you confirm, the crop is saved to the original file, keeping its JPEG quality, color, and bit depth. ALSO NEW • Right-click the photo or the thumbnail strip for quick actions. • Clear All Picks is now ⌘/ (was ⌘\). FIXES • Opening a folder while another is still loading no longer shows the old folder's photos. • Thumbnails update when any photo in the folder changes on disk, not just the one on screen. • Menu icons show correctly on macOS 27.
