Willow is here to help those without a green thumb, the serial-plant-killers, and the play-it safe cacti owners. We’re here to remove the guesswork and make plant care easy.
Features:
PERSONALISED CARE ACTIONS
Willow gives you a simple, structured way to look after your plants, helping you understand how they’re doing, what they need, and what to do next.
Regular Plant Check-ins help you spot changes and provide practical guidance based on what you observe. Willow will remind you when it’s time to check again.
Our Watering Cycle guides you through checking soil moisture, deciding when to water and evaluating how well you’ve watered. Light Assessments help you understand whether your plants are getting enough or too much light in their current location.
Tailored care tasks and reminders help you stay on top of each plant’s needs.
Please note, we’re introducing this to new users first.
Already using Willow? Your current plant care experience will stay the same for now. We’re working on a guided introduction to the new features and will release in a future update.
PLANT IDENTIFICATION
Plants can look alike and even share the same name. Simply take a photo and our smart engine will automatically identify your plant!
PLANT CARE GUIDES
Our plant library includes easy to digest care instructions for hundreds of houseplants and is growing all the time. You can discover new plants and identify which plants are best suited to your conditions. You can even request plants be added to our database.
COLLECT URBAN JUNGLES
Create personal profiles for your plants and organise them in a virtual urban jungle. Perfect if you have many to look after! Here you can add notes, photos, and track and record events to journal each plant’s journey.
FERTILISER SCHEDULE
A schedule is auto-populated for any plants added to your collection so you know when and how to best fertilise your plants all year-round. Choose between liquid or slow release fertiliser.
BLOGS & TUTORIALS
Enjoy the latest from our blog and fun tutorials that show you how to take better care of your plants, grow new plants and even propagate some of your faves!
WILLOW SENSORS
Our beautifully crafted plant sensors continuously monitor your plant’s soil moisture, ambient light, temperature and humidity and will alert you when an action is required to keep your plant happy. And of course a plant score to truly let you know how your plant is feeling.
WILLOW GROW is an optional paid experience packed with features a-planty to level up your plant care:

Thanks to the developer team for saving my plants. The history function of this app can show my past watering, fertilising and using potions, which can help me give special treatment to different plants, such as adding the tag "carbendazim 1g 500½ 💦". I especially hope that the team will consider support for other languages, such as Chinese, and the last, will you please consider adding widget functions about “history”next version?
It is helpful
Lyrae
I really use it for its basic function. It tells me when my plat needs watering, and i water it, and it tells me i watered the right amound when i do. I also check every other day to see if its happy with the moisture level. And when i place it near a different window, its helpful that it tells me if the amount of light is right. Would recommend.
Developer Response

One question though, why can’t I buy your products in the app?
1. Care Actions are easier to find, with pending counts on each plant.
• New users get Personalised Care Actions: Plant Check-ins with guidance, a Watering Cycle with soil checks and post-watering feedback, and Light Assessments.
• Added links to learn about Willow Sensors.
2. Related reminders are grouped into fewer notifications.
3. Added a privacy permission dialog that lets you choose whether to allow tracking for advertising measurement.
Existing users keep their current experience. Personalised Care Actions will arrive in a future update.
