more I have tried every IPTV player.. some of them are not bad…however, none compare to SWIPTV. 1st- developer response and updates- this developer is hands down the most responsive and attentive to updates. I have tried almost all of the IPTV apps that are absolve on AppleTV and this is by far the best. I have also used the app on iPhone and Mac and it’s just as incredible. I had been using IPTVX app for over a year but when I noticed this app came out I gave it a try and switched all my devices to it. The biggest improvement over IPTVX is background playlist refresh. Only thing I would like to see added is multi view so you could tile multiple live channels at once.

Trying to decide between this and Chillio and I can’t even try this one first. Chillio has a free trial so I can use all the pro features before paying, whereas this one has me stuck waiting just to try it properly due to a simple mistake. Not a good sign

The playlist and EPG refresh is quick and easy. The favorites list are easily accessible for movies, live channels, and series. It’s amazing having the PIP option and the capability to make the PIP screen smaller or larger by zooming in. It’s super helpful to have the PIP screen if I have to look at a different app or messages. Definitely recommend for iPhone users

This update brings the built-in VPN and fixes many bugs reported by the community:
- New: a WireGuard VPN right inside Swiptv, on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. You bring your own subscription or your own server — Swiptv does not sell any VPN service. Import a file, paste a configuration, or type the values in. And to avoid typing it all with the remote, set up the Apple TV from your iPhone by scanning a code.
- Trakt: the integration has been reworked and optimised, fixing several bugs. You will need to sign in again once.
- Downloads no longer fill up your iCloud storage.
- Playback: the next episode starts instead of staying paused, and buffering gets ahead on disk again — a network drop of several tens of seconds goes unnoticed.

**What's New in Swiptv v3.7.4:**
Two new things in the player, plus a batch of fixes reported by the community.
- New: audio and subtitle tracks now sit in a submenu, with the active track as its title. The settings (style, size, delay) are no longer buried under the list of languages.
- New: in replay, the progress bar now shows the part that is already loaded.
- iPhone: the mini player no longer disappears when you open the playlist list, and the stream is no longer cut when you come back from Picture in Picture.
- Apple TV: the mini player comes back properly after switching playlist from the guide.
- A film or series page now updates when you change its metadata, including poster, summary and cast.
- Apple TV: the favourite and lock buttons on a page react right away, and focus comes back correctly after the change-metadata screen.
- Home: the "on now" row follows the time and reacts to the selector.
- Apple TV: the player menus no longer flicker (tvOS 26).
- Closed caption subtitles (CC1) on some channels now show reliably.
- You can change a channel's custom logo without having to reset it first.
- Metadata search is more accurate: the title is cleaned of tags like UHD or 4K.
- A manual refresh now pushes back the next automatic refresh.
