『ワッピンギルドのバーチャル商店街』とは、誰もが一度は夢見たことがある「自分だけのお店」を、簡単に無料で開店できるサービスです。「なつかしくて、あたらしい商店街」がテーマで、何も売らない人も大歓迎です。 メタバースと言っても、高価なVRゴーグルも、複雑な操作も必要ありません。　お手持ちのデバイスやウェブから簡単にアクセスができます。 「ワッピンギルド島」の作画は、未来レトロ界隈で、国内外の人気を博するイラストレーター とろろとろろ氏が手がける。　空間のUI/UXは早稲田大学で社会デザイン/空間映像設計・表現を学んだこばやしたけるが総合デザインを担当。その他、国内外の社内外の多様なクリエイターさんにご協力いただきました。 原案者/開発者のこばやしたけるは、『小さいころからRPGゲームが大好きで「お店」という空間設定を介して、配信を楽しめる半リアルな空間に育てていけたら嬉しい』といいます。
