Wordish is a word puzzle game with a quirky sense of fun. It’s a simple pleasure for filling quiet moments when you want an enjoyable, brain-teasing distraction.
GAME OBJECTIVE
Challenge yourself to create as many words as you can from seven letters. Play at your own pace—no pressure, no time limits. Some puzzles are long, some are short. A new puzzle comes along every day.
Each word must have at least four letters and include the key letter. Use letters as many times as needed.
Four-letter words earn one point; longer words score one point per letter. Find a pangram (a word using all letters) for double points. Ranks are based on a percentage of points scored.
Fans of spelling bees, crossword puzzles, word trivia, and daily puzzle challenges will feel right at home.

This was a great game. However, the latest upgrade is a great disappointment. I preferred it when the found and unfound words were listed separately after completing each day’s game. Also, I’m disappointed that you removed the definitions. One of the benefits of the game was learning new words. Please reconsider returning those attributes. Original review:This is my new favorite word game! Not only does he provide the option to see the number of words left, but how many exist with the first two letters of each word, so you can be purposeful in thinking of solutions. Well done!
Great game but needs a better player experience

I enjoy playing this game but a few points: I wish you could have more say when it comes to game difficulty or word list settings. The word list is really difficult - I always miss a good portion of the words and it’ll be things like “Brrr” (how does that count?), the last name of a Scottish-born US naturalist from 1892?? (Muir) or a small type of buffalo only found in a certain place in the Philippines (Tamarau). Unless you are walking encyclopedia, a literary genius or “cheating” and looking words up while playing - you’re not getting to champ level. The app also gives a whole lot of information and statistics about past game play but not much of the information given is useful. For example, it’ll tell you the puzzle id number and the time of day you played past puzzles, but you can’t even see the actual puzzles (the letters you were working with) or the any of the words found or missed. Lastly, I have no idea how to read the letter grid and would have appreciated some instructions there.
Update detracts from a great game
Sammyzmom
I loved this game! It’s great if you enjoy word puzzles or are hooked on NYT spelling bee. But the most recent update has led to some weird glitches. The puzzles from one day to the next are getting jumbled together…in fact a person gets bumped from a daily puzzle with no explanation.
Developer Response
Hi, I’m really sorry to hear about the glitches you’re having, can you please contact me (go to settings, about in the app for contact details); I need some more info to sort this bug out. Thanks.
Fun game but like… cool jt with the pop-up snark
PAR82
It’s a fun game and the daily puzzle format keeps jt from sucking too much of your time. But I would take TWO WHOLE stars off because you can’t turn off the feedback that pops up every time you enter an answer. It gets old really fast and TBH it’s a little mean! For example, “wins the wooden spoon”? I’m sorry is this app… threatening to beat me?? It’s downright bizarre.
Fixes a crash that stopped Wordish opening on devices set to a region that uses a non-Gregorian calendar — Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan among them. If Wordish wouldn't launch for you before, it will now.
