You can choose to start Live Activity after creating a reminder without leaving the current app. Also you can choose to select your custom templates in shortcut settings, which I think can increasingly boost up your efficiency. Plus, the widgets now support displaying countdown timer. This updates also includes some other great improvements.

This version adds support for selecting a template to add by a drag gesture on the add button. Also, when adding timer content in custom template page, you can set the fixed duration of the timer instead of setting a specified time. So the next time you create a new reminder, the target time will be calculated based on your duration automatically.

You can disable this feature in the widget configuration by long-pressing the widget. On iPad you can activate a reminder as live activity. Also, you can add a reminder using Shortcuts app, which allows you use action button in iPhone 15 Pro to add a reminder. Those features require iOS 17.0, iPadOS 17.0 or macOS 14.0.
