Is this what HP has sank to? They were once the best. You could connect by ethernet cable, have full features of the printer, and also use other computers, iPad, or whatever, and have full feature control with them also! Not so now! HP requires you to join auto ink/paper renewal for any support such as drivers or even to use the printer! How we have fallen! Now, if you have a HP wireless, you will only have limited use by Ethernet, and no way to use both ethernet and wireless without loosing use of Full Features. You no longer get an installation disk with updates online anytime! You must pay a monthly fee to even use the thing after 1 single year! I have, in the past, sworn to only buy HP Printers! No longer so! I will do some serious shopping before buying another printer!

The HP Ink contract controls your printer and can shut it down for use with out warning. When this happen to me HP shut down access to Printer app as well forcing me to waste 45 minutes getting a very apologetic rep on line. HP is dead to me, moving over the Brother or another after buying over 20 HP printers over the years. At the end of the call, the rep offered to me a special promotion $7.99 to purchase a printer… if I subscribe to their Ink program. I told the representative HP is dead to me. I will never purchase another HP printer.

Never connects! Need to buy a subscription to use now! Must download photos in app. No simplicity. What happened to being able to just click the print button on my photo? Downgraded the item then started charging for it!
