Many have criticized this app for poor user interface and lack of things like start times for races. Although I wish there was still a constructors and drivers standings page, most of the issues seem to have been fixed. I have not had the app for more than the day, but the majority of the issues from other reviews seem resolved.

This app looks and feels like it was made in 2005. The UI is horrible, all text based things are just badly placed and with no effort at all in styling, just bareboned. You know what, I take that back. There were some very cool websites back in 2005. Text presentations wise we are talking 1999. It almost looks like pure HTML presentation. The player will also randomly break too….and oh my god the livetiming. I actually don’t even use the one on this app nor on the wectv website. I just use the much much better, more modern looking old one (ironic), on the actual WEC website. It might not have the car tracking but I just can’t stand the UI on the new one. Everything is just terrible and uninspired man. Compare this with F1, premier league and heck even Formula E. Their apps actually look like they were made in the last few years and run properly. This app is decades behind them. These other organizations are taking their products seriously tell ACO to do the same. People watch Le Mans on this for Christ’s sake.

I am not computer savvy just a dedicated racing fan. I wonder if the people who wrote the application software know that it doesn’t work at all. When I was using the basic app (although it didn’t give much detail) it worked much better than the purchased upgrades. Now all I get are error messages and notifications to install updates which revert to more error messages. Can I have my money back?

It is great to have an app that has such high quality racing footage. You have to pay for the live races, but if you don’t mind waiting you can watch all the races free after they have been aired. It’s a great service to the fans to have this for free and I plan on watching all of the content available!
