- Private profiles — Non-friends see a lock screen instead of posts on profiles. Backend guards the /posts/profile endpoint with a friendship check.
- Unified auth account linking — Sign in with Apple and WorkOS email login resolve to the same account via email matching. Added appleSub field for dual identity storage. Includes a merge mutation for existing duplicates.
- Comment input accessibility — Increased bottom padding on post detail so the input isn't hidden behind the tab bar on smaller phones.

- Chat Auto-Scroll — Messages auto-scroll when you're near the bottom. Floating "New messages" pill appears when you've scrolled up.
- Image Attachments in DMs — Send photos in chat via the + button. Preview before sending, upload to R2, inline display in chat bubbles.
- Chat Preview Text — Conversation list shows "You: ..." prefix for messages you sent.
- AI Kitchen Aspect Ratios — Choose Portrait (3:4), Square (1:1), or Wide (4:3) for AI generations. Reference images are pre-cropped to match. Correct format sent per model (nano-banana, grok, flux).
- Concurrent Cooks — Run up to 5 AI generation batches simultaneously without blocking.
- Feed Auto-Refresh — Feed refreshes automatically after posting a new Boujé.
- Profile Navigation — Tap any username or profile picture on the feed or post detail to visit that user's profile. "Boujé them" button on friend profiles opens the create flow with that friend pre-selected.
- "Boujé them" Loading State — Button shows spinner while uploading/posting.
- Aura/Raw Toggle — Labels now reflect the current image state. Fixed wide-shot overflow bug.
- Image Loading Reliability — Images auto-retry on failure instead of showing permanent placeholders.
- UI Polish — Active feed tab indicator, both sender and recipient profile pics on post headers, labeled Boujé tab button.

- Push Notifications — Full APNs push notifications for new Boujés, comments, DMs, and friend requests with deep linking to the relevant screen. Smart suppression of DM banners when you're already in that chat.
- APNs Sandbox Support — Push notifications now work on both Xcode debug builds and TestFlight/App Store builds by routing tokens to the correct APNs endpoint.
- Chat Auto-Scroll — Auto-scrolls to new messages when you're near the bottom (within 25% of screen). Shows a floating "New messages" pill when you've scrolled up — tap to jump to latest.
- Image Attachments in DMs — Send photos in chat via the + button. Select from photo library, preview before sending, then confirm. Images upload to R2 and display inline in chat bubbles.
- Chat Preview Text — Conversation list now shows "You: ..." prefix when you sent the last message (e.g. "You: Sent a photo").
- Image Loading Reliability — RemoteImage now auto-retries on failure with backoff, and retries every time the image scrolls into view instead of permanently showing a placeholder.

The feed system has had a major overhaul. Everything looks the same but the posts are fed to you in the best possible order. Every time a chain is updated, it appears at the top of your feed as it rightly should!
Also fixed a minor profile picture duplication bug.

Visual Improvements and Bug fixes:
- Added profile pictures to the following and follower accounts on profile Page view.
- Changed the camera icon (found at the top right corner of each page) to a plus icon.
- Search results were difficult to tap on. Fixed that.
- Loading Screens weren't showing up on some pages. Fixed that.

Bug fixes for v2.1:
- Fixed a weird sheet view bug that redirects you to an incorrent page when you try to post immediately after you change your profile picture.
- "No Streak" text doesn't have an unnecessary dot in the beginning.
- Slightly buggy capture button now properly gives haptic feedback to indicate photo capture.

- Added profile pictures of all people in the chain post to the top of the post.

- Chaining posts (Chaining Boujees).
- Complete UI Overhaul. Custom Tab bars and focus on sharing pictures of each other.

- Removed Live Posts (which were mainly text based boujees) for the time being. This is done to focus on exactly one feature and perfect it rather than spreading ourselves thin with multiple mediocre features that users don't even use.

- Introducing the Live Boujee Billboard. The Billboard is a permanent 'board' on your profile page that all your friends and followers can post on! Go search up your friends and on their profiles write up any text they (and their followers) would be interested to see! But note that these live boujees (messages), however, dissapear in 24 hours.
Also some quality of life features added as well:

- Also you can now receive promotional push notifications directly from our developers about new updates and changes.
