Best Paperless App So Far

This is by far the best and most feature rich paperless app that I’ve downloaded so far. And I’ve downloaded and used three of them. The whole point of having all your documents scanned in is organization and searchability. This app does that the best. There’s so many configurations that you can do, and it even lets you use your camera to scan an extra documents and save them directly to your server. But the searchability inside the documents and the reliability are what makes it truly pristine. Definitely worth the five dollar price to unlock all the features.

Based on the features available and ease of use, this app beats others like Scan4Paperless and Paperless_App. Scan4Paperless required an API key to log in (why?) and Paperless_App had very few features. If you want to scan a multi page PDF for example you’re out of luck. This app has a great UI and can combine PDFs which is mostly what I need. It’s intuitive too. I don’t know what features were locked behind the purchase, but I bought it anyways to support the developer. The family sharing is much appreciated too. Keep up the good work!

I was so excited to come across a proper native app for my Paperless install. It was even thought through well enough to allow injecting custom headers for authentication so you can continue using Cloudflare or something similar and not need to expose your instance directly to the internet.

Great app, especially combined with mac desktop app. Works very well with a home server paperless-ngx setup.

Changes: - Fixed an issue causing the share extension not to work with files shared from "Notes" - Paperparrot will now automatically try to negiotiate the API version if the server rejects a request - Fixed an issue causing connections to new servers to fail when custom headers are used - Fixed an issue causing custom fields not to work with recent server versions - Improved reliability of monetary field sync - Fixed an issue causing documents to appear duplicated when using Paperparrot without a server
