The UI for music is clean, and being able to assign functions to the buttons within it is very nice, but I wish the customization extended to the app’s “dock” at the bottom of the screen. I don’t like that things like the Fanzone and Home tabs can’t be removed. It’d probably be the perfect music app for me if I could set it up so that the app’s sole focus was on local files and their organization, rather than there being areas of the app that try to nudge you into participating in some kind of online “community”, or having yet another online account.

I've been looking for a good media player for a while, and this one looked really promising on the surface. It looked like everything I needed, except for one small, crucial detail. It doesn't work. It just...does not work. The entire thing is a frontend with no actual function. When I add music into it via the icloud button in media management, it's always missing when I close and reopen the app. Before that though, if I try to play any of the tracks I had added, they just...don't! No sound, no sign that anything is happening. It's a music player without the player.I can only assume this is an error, since I would really like to use it, but that's not really possible when it just cannot play the music I try to port into it.

Pretty much the exact same experience as others have mentioned here. Personally, I don't store any music locally. I'm an Apple Music subscriber, and prefer to stream all of my music from the cloud. Somehow, music is still taking up over eight gigs of space on my phone, but that's not relevant to this review. i've loved using Winamp on my computer for years, so was super excited to hear that it had come to iOS. I downloaded the app, though, and absolutely nothing happened. As others have described, when I tried to open the app, it hangs for about a minute, and then just closes. Since I'm blind, I thought that maybe it was a voiceover issue, but clearly, that is not the case. Hopefully, this app will get fixed someday, as I would love to use it, but now, it's pretty much pointless.

I got this app a few years back and it was buggy beyond use. I read about the Winamp and Deezer partnership and redownloaded to see if anything had improved before their launch next year. Seems like something have improved but overall still lots of options. The app will not allow you to continue with the creation of a Winamp account. No matter how hard I try it will not sync all my local iTunes media on phone nor will it sync with my iCloud. I’d love to use this as my daily media player especially with Deezer integration coming next year, I just hope a lot of things are improved by then and I can update my review of the app.
