Driver App allows drivers to pick up and drop off students. The App uses face recognition technology to detect student’s faces and record their details while entering and alighting the bus with geolocation. The app automatically fetches the list of students to be picked up from a particular pick-up point using geolocation technology, app will be ready with the facial features of those students.
The App will read the face of the student while he/she enters the bus & match the face with the database of the student’s face, once all pre-stored features of the face are matched, the app will mark him/her as present in the bus. The same process will be followed while dropping off the students.
Since App handles the students while onboarding and alighting, drivers are able to focus on their driving and pay attention to safety. The app has got in-app chat feature to chat with respective parents if students are not found at the pick-up point (whoever has not marked as ‘Leave’ by parents).
The App displays the list of daily routes for the driver. So they can be prepared to deliver students on time with route optimization.
