Moving from South Florida to Georgia is a stressful experience. Especially, when finances are as tight as they are for everyone today. After hearing a few friends say, “I have a trailer you can use for free.” But when you truly need it… it’s busy, it has a flat, it’s full or, “I need to register it tomorrow for you.” Every excuse in the book. This causes delays, interruptions in the entire process and even hurt feelings and loss of friends.I was tired of waiting… tired of begging. I search “Trailer rentals near me” and reached out to the Big Corporate rentals first. They want BIG $$$, and as I said earlier… times are hard right now for us all. Then I found “Neighbor’sTrailer”. Within 5 minutes I registered… another 5 minutes found the trailer (LOCAL) and had everything setup to make the first of a few trips 2 days later.Thank you “Neighbor’sTrailers” and “George C” for making something easy and affordable. Just one more reason to use LOCAL FOLKS instead of feeding the corporate BEAST!

Great App, But Fees Are High

I’m thrilled with my experience using this app to rent a trailer from Jesus in Fort Worth. Paying the extra $20 commission fee felt worthwhile as a safety net when renting from a stranger, and the screening process for both parties added peace of mind. The app made the rental process smooth and secure, which was great for my first time. However, the 20% commission taken from the renter and the additional fee for me felt steep. While I’m very satisfied, I’ll likely rent directly with the owner next time unless the fees are reduced. Lower commissions would make me eagerly return to the app!

I was a bit skeptical about renting a trailer from a stranger and not a company but this app is awesome! There are many trailer options and way more flexible than other companies like U-haul. The cost is comparable with others but there is a refundable deposit which I didn’t mind since the owners are risking renting out their trailers. Highly recommend and I’m sure I’ll use this app again.

Why would you have 2 apps for owner and renter? Why wouldn’t you just build it in together? The app is very laggy and constantly gives me errors. Wont let me verify my identity no matter what I do. This has really turned me away from wanting to use their system.The online portal is doing similar things. Says I already have an account, wouldn’t let me switch to a renter from an owner. Wont verify me on either side, as a renter or an owner. They charge you for using their app and to take your payment & refund you your “deposit”. Oh don’t forget you have to pay for Insurnace as well. I get it. Just adds up fast.
